Yup, he was very human like that, actually I always thought he was more human then Max.

he seemed to feel a bit more while Max was very um standoffish? cold? which is odd when you consider that Max got out as a child, Alec didn't.

Oh my I haven't watched DA in yrs actually. But I did come up with some reasons why I love him.

B/C He fit right in with the leather jacket and biker boy image.
B/C he's a deft fighter
B/C his alter ego in The Berrisford Agenda was a deep lover too with a sensitive side.
And B/C like he said He's smart Alec!

Bee, you have a point there.

You can look easily behind Alec's curtain and his "I'm always alright" attitude. With Max? Not so much.

That could be it. Of course, the things that Max went through were horrible too but I think Alec took the cake.

of for sure, BA proved that.

I think after living through that you can't help but have more feeling. It changed him alot.

What I liked about that line was that it showed Joshua really did get Alec in a way that nobody else did, including Max. Alec hid a lot of the time behind his "tricks and treats", his "I'm always all right" attitude. But at times he let down his guard enough to show that he was hurt, was broken in some fundamental ways from Manticore.

Josh did seem to have a really good handle on Alec, and that is why I really liked them becoming friends as the season moved on. They both seemed to understand each other.

I think that is why I was so addicted to him, cause we got to see just what he had to go thru.. how he had to live

and in BA watching him experience emotions like that for the first time

broke me !

The friendship between him and Joshua tugged at my heart. Alec always trying to put up the ruff exterior of not caring about anyone but himself and then at the end of Dog Day Afternoon when he put his arms around Joshua and *flail* .. well that part made me cry !!

OMG! I just realized I downloaded like three eppies of DA and never watch them!!

How wrong is that? I need to do somethng about that tonight!!
