Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) break into Bela's (Lauren Cohan) apartment in order to get the Colt back, but she has tipped off Agent Henricksen (guest star C. Malik Whitfield) about their whereabouts and they are arrested. While Sam and Dean are locked in a cell in Colorado, a demon breaks in and kills some of the sheriff's men and possesses Henricksen.

After the guys vanquish the demon, the FBI agent realizes they were telling the truth and prepares to release them, but Ruby (guest star Katie Cassidy) shows up to a warn Sam and Dean that the jailhouse is surrounded by a band of demons with a powerful new leader who wants Sam dead.

Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Sera Gamble.

Okay, whoa, one second here...

I'd like you all to know I haven't seen Supernatural, that's why I was curious. That being said, maybe the girls will be okay tonight... I wouldn't rightly know but it doesn't hurt to keep a positive attitude.

Janet, you must watch SPN! Best show EVER! ...but onto the girls, see fandom hates them in general because they are girls and they are taking away brother air time. (up until this season it's been only Dean and Sam for the most part with the occasional guest star) then all of a sudden the CW thinks ooh add pretty girls for eye candy (i could insert bashing here but I'll take the higher road) so now all of a sudden we get two newbies who are regulars! WTF? and granted it's still mostly Dean and Sam but every episode (except for three of them) we have at least one scene with a newbie (and they are both very annoying characters especially Ruby because she's a demon and wants Sam to lead the evil army and for that SHE MUST DIE! did I mention she was a demon?...and yes Bela is annoying I adore her I do because her and Jensen (well the actress who plays her) has AMAZING chemistry! like WHOA) but yeah Bela's a bitch, no other way to put it) so you can only imagin the fangirls disappointment to find out that BOTH girls will b in this episode.

but as for the episode! I LOVED IT! the boys were handcuffed together! now that alone should be reason enough but no, then they go on with the matching tatts! and the bashing of John LOL and the kinky line, and the dean smirks and PETER DELUISE guested! ..and did I mention the boys were handcuffed together?

and am I the only one getting bored with the whole mythology of the show? I don't care anymore...just give me brother moments! I crave the simpleness of S1

Unfortunately we don't get SPN on our tv anymore. We used to get "WB hours", then "CW hours" but they stopped last year, so that's out, and we don't get City so that's out.

I can understand not liking new characters, especially if they're demons. Sounds like you did get some great stuff though.

Woah. What an amazing episode.

The boys handcuffed to each other and sitting on one bed. Sorry...
I loved it when Hendrikson said 'I shot the sherrif!' and Dean 'Yeah, but you didn't shoot the deputy!' I was laughing so hard, I still am.

The whole fight was a blast. I loved it.
Ruby and Bela sucked as usual.
Why didn't they cut Nancys heart out and let Ruby do the spell?
She would be gone now.
Sorry for Nancy, but Ruby wouldn't be such a pain in the ass anymore.

I'm a bit sad that Hendrikson died. Now, that he believed in our boys
I liked him. The kid was just scary.
I can't believe the demon is in a kids body.

I actually liked Ruby. I was adamant to like them both before when I heard of the two girls. But as the season goes, Ruby grew on me. Yes, she's a demon but she's trying so hard to help Sam and Dean. And yes, she's a demon but she had risked her life for them before and her story backs up the whole season 3 mythology, which, I actually like. I like the mystery and the complexity of the mythology. It gives us more to look forward to, gives us more to speculate about. If we only get like episodes that have different monsters every week and the Sam and Dean fight them and there's no bigger story, I think that would bore me. I'd probably watch it because Jensen and Jared are hot.

As for this episode, I love it. I love the effects, too.

And Dean's "Nobody's killing any virgins!" That was a priceless ice breaker.
