All Hell Breaks Loose, Part One

Sam (Jared Padalecki) is abducted by the Yellow-Eyed Demon and finds himself in a ghost town with other children who have special abilities. They learn the Demon has brought them together to initiate his endgame: an all-out war against the human race.

In an effort to encourage Sam to fight, the Demon shows him what really happened to one of his parents.

Dean (Jensen Ackles) enlists Bobby's (guest star Jim Beaver) help to find Sam before the battle begins, but he arrives too late.

Sera Gamble wrote the episode directed by Robert Singer.

I saw the promo though, and that broke my heart.

I think I might be in shock or denial...because I feel nothing

... I almost cried, but didn't, and I'm not in a state of OMG Next week NOW! ...so yeah I think it's shock.

I guess I just figure he'll be ok..because he has to be right?

....I am wondering about Mary though...what the h*ll did she do? She knew him! That can not be good.

I'm with you Bee on everything except the crying part. I just finished it and am bawling my eyes out! How the hell can this be they wouldn't really kill Sammy would they???? I'm trying to live in denial right now but its so hard.
And WTF about Mary? she knew the demon this doesn't make any sense

I wish I could say I didn't cry like a little school girl, but I would by lying. "I am gonna take care of you, I got you, That's my job" broke me into a thousand weepy little pieces, infact this is my subconsious posting this comment, the real me is still huddled on the floor in the fetal position crying her eyes out *pokes her with a stick*

Dean's voice when he bellows "Sam" cuts me to the quick EVERY DAMN TIME .. swear I get chills.

and the friggin' promo *hears moaning coming from the floor* OMG The promo !! "then let it end"

this is not good .. don't know if I am gonna be able to take another broken Dean moment, I mean I am pretty sure Sam is gonna be okay .. got some twisted thoughts on the whole "Demon Blood" thing. . but still I am gonna have to watch Dean thinking his brother is gone for good

Thats where I really started bawling too. The look on Jensen's face and his voice was cracking. OMG tears my heart up.
Oh I know I got such chills. I wasn't expecting him to yell out like that

Ok..that was...interesting.

Mary knew the demon? What's going on?

Sam has to be ok, right? I mean they can't just let him die. That would be...no. But Dean made me cry

I'm still a bit confused, I guess...

But Dean only had the visions because Andy sent them to him.

I don't know about Mary's thing. My first thought was back in her younger days she made a deal with a demon (kinda like crossroads) but I certainly hope not!! I like wakeupolder's theory better - that Mary was a "special" kid too.

Ava went bad.

And I hated Andy dying.

And Ash dying

Where's Ellen & Jo?

Was it just me or did the Yellow-Eyed Demon seem actually nice?

I like that I at least got to get a few giggles in before it all started "Dude, I'm the one who has to ride with your extra onions!" "I love me some pie"

Sam Sam Sam. Poor Sam. This episode really proved how far he has come (just like we were discussing in last week's episode thread). He was worried about Dean and what had happened to him and if Dean could find him. That was wonderful.

They will not kill off Sam permanently. They can't. He's one of the stars of the show.

The ending with Dean holding Sam - I don't feel like I absorbed it all. I'm gonna have to watch it again but it did make me feel very very very sad. Him touching the blood and saying "It's not that bad." broke me up.

But the previews for next week - just absolutely killed me. KILLED ME. Dean's tear-filled eyes yelling "Let it end" that's just too much for a fangirl to take.

Did he? Because to me it looked a hell of a lot like Sams visions and not like Andy sending a picture to someone... I don't know...

I thought when they did the whole pan out thing, it was over .. but then they zoom back in on him and he yells "Sam" and breaks

I watched that like 5 times before I had to quit cause I couldn't see thru the tears anymore
