marian, downton abbey is british tv series that centers on the crawley family and their servants set right before world war I. the series actually starts with the sinking of titanic. it's been winning awards left and right. you can check out the Downton Abbey website.

how was everyone's weekend? i had a wonderful weekend. my niece and i watched the Blue/A1/98 Degrees concert last night. it was awesome. the guys were all hot and sounded amazing.

as you can probably see, i'm a big fan of boy bands. i also just found out the new kids on the block and backstreet boys will be having a concert here in a few months as well. i will be watching them as well.

You gotta go to that one! I never got into New Kids In The Block (maybe I was too young, what year did they became the most famous?) but I was a big BSB fan back in the day.

i'm trying to watch both now, jas. but i have watched more of AI than the voice. i missed the first two episodes of the voice and just watched bits of the third and fourth episode.

i'm so proud of jessica sanchez. she's the filipino-american who made it to the top 24. her voice is amazing and she's one of the front runners. she's also one of the top picks of the judges. i'm sure she'll make it to the top 12.
