Well..the end is the saddest. You wouldn't have gotten to enjoy the happier moments..and all you would have done was cry.

i wish it would've ended another way but happy endings didn't really happen for gay couples back then.

I agree. I just watched BBM last night, and every time I watch it I am more and more impressed with the acting. You can become so wrapped up in the characters, especially Jack, that you forget it's Jake and he's straight. He played such a great part. Poor Jack, a romantic, love-struck guy with pipe dreams that never come to pass...so damn sad!

Happy moment....when he's laying on the ground playing the harmonica talking about how the mare got lucky and threw him. I guess it was just the smile on his face when Ennis said something bout the harmonica getting broke.

Heartbreaking..will be a different post.
