GAY KISS TOPS POLL OF MOVIE SNOGS

FILM fans have voted a gay kiss between two cowboys the best screen snog of all time.

The clinch between hunky actors Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal in Brokeback Mountain topped an online poll ahead of romantic classics such as Gone With The Wind and From Here To Eternity.

Second place in the survey by DVD rental firm Lovefilm was the kiss in the rain between George Peppard and Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's smooch in Mr & Mrs Smith, at a time when their real-life romance was beginning, took third place, with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh in GoneWith The Wind in fourth.

Another same-sex smooch was fifth in the poll - the lesbian snog between Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions.

Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster's beach kiss in From Here To Eternity was sixth.

The Godfather's "kiss-of-death" where Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) gives his brother Fredo (John Cazale) a peck on the cheek - before ordering his murder came in at No7.

Colin Firth and Renee Zwelleger in Bridget Jones's Diary, Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in Spider-Man and Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray in Dirty Dancing round off the top 10.

Lovefilm marketing manager Fliss White said: "When we asked our members to share their favourite movie kiss, we never expected the results to be so varied.

"Our top 10 has covered everything from sexy passionate embraces to more sinister, threatening kisses."

That animation kills me! I remember in the theater seeing it for the first time and my jaw literally dropped. So hot.

You guys should add "Far Away" by Nickelback to the opening post as one of their songs. I thought we had that on there....but I haven't visited in awhile My fave Jack/Ennis songvid is to that.
