I honestly think the Cannes was the only place it was going to be shown first. I think they've done that before. Showed movies at film festivals before they are premiered to the rest of the world.
Because I think there would be some sort of advertising if it was going to show in at least the US at the same time it premiered at the Cannes.

but since the film is not going to be premiered in cannes, i assume it's going to be premiered in the US first right?

where else are they going to premiere it if the stars don't want to go abroad.

Still no clue on the premiere date. I've heard of winter dates for European countries. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a US date yet.

One other site in there says maybe December 9th.

i'm soooo happy that production stills from the movie have been released. it seems like the release is just around the corner even though it's still in december. jake looks dangerously sexy as a bad boy.
