'Driving Lessons' DVD in Brazil
Good news for Rupert fans in Brazil! While Driving Lessons (titled "Lições de Vida") may have been in limited cinema release in Brazil, beginning next week the DVD will be available for purchase!
Thank you to RG.net reader & fan art contributor, Lilly, for letting us know that "Lições de Vida" will be released next Wednesday, May 23rd on DVD in Brazil! Click here to view a scan from a Blockbuster magazine advertizing the DVD's release. A small preview of the DVD cover art can be seen to your left. At the moment, it does not seem as if there will be any special features on this DVD.

Rupert will be attending the OotP Premiere in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 8th!

It has been confirmed by WB that the U.S. Premiere for Order of the Phoenix will be held this year in Hollywood at the Grauman's Chinese Theater! Its 3 main young leads, Rupert, Dan and Emma will all be attending!

While the London Premiere has been confirmed for Tuesday, July 3rd! It will again be held at London's Leicester Square Theater! Of course, Rupert, Dan and Emma will be attending this event as well.

Trio on the cover of Teen Vogue

With the release of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" a little under two months away, the stars, Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson grace the June issue of 'Teen Vogue.' Each is interviewed and while not much new information is garnered from the interview, there are new pictures of the trio.

Well as usual I'm ticked off that they didn't put all three kids on the cover - Rupert may not have contributed much to the interview but he contributed the same number of photos. Darn nice pictures though - Rupert might have the makings of a good model??

...Rupert when pressed for specifics, utters only an unconvincing , "I can't quite remember now." (It should be noted that he's a much better actor on-screen.)

At almost nineteen, Rupert is the eldest of the trio, but he seems to be a man of very few words. It's not that he's not agreeable; he responds in affirmative even when the actual word he's looking for is "no". A typical example: Asked if he has any particular vacation plans for the period immediately after Phoenix wraps, he responds, "Probably, yeah. No plans at the moment, though." The red-headed - or as the Brits have it, ginger-haired - actor has several traits in common with his alter ego, including a large family (Rupert still lives with his, which includes four younger siblings, in Hertfordshire) and a fear of spiders. But Rupert is apparently a far better gamer: "I golf a bit," he says, "and I go-kart," and his dressing room boasts a pool table, a dartboard, and nearby, a Ping-Pong table at which he frequently beats the pants off poor Dan. "I was looking forward to the Quidditch," Rupert admits - the fifth book has Ron joining the Gryffindor team, but that subplot was cut from the film - "though any stunt stuff is good to do."

Of course, many actors actively dislike anything - like "flying" - that involves harnesses and high-wire work; even Dan reports that "Quidditch is a very painful experience," and that he wasn't all that sad to see it go. But back on the big, busy Phoenix set, it's easy to see how Rupert might muster some genuine enthusiasm for even the most odious parts of what's sometimes called "movie magic". It's amusing, for sure, to see him, Emma, and Dan being reminded by their director to appear approrpriately frightened at the sudden appearance of the malicious Lucius Malfoy - a pointer that's rather unnecessary, considering that Jason Isaacs, the actor who plays the pretty-haired bad guy, is currently looking completely unmenacing, yawning as his long, blond tresses are brushed by a makeup girl. But as the cameras start rolling and a Death Eater wonders, tauntingly, whether or not the trio have ever heard of dreams, it's very clear: They have. Lots and lots of theirs have already come true.

Rupert says in caption: "My hair does stand out, so it attracts attention. It's quite strange being recognized. I'm still getting used to it."

Well I use to suscripe to TV and they had comments from the readers that were either praising or complaining about something whether who's on the cover or articles. So I'm pretty sure if enough people send complaints about only D/E making the cover I'm sure they won't make the mistake next time.

I'm totally with you guys on this one. Leaving Rupert off the cover is completely insulting. The only thing that makes up for it is staring at those lovely inside pics of Rupert.

I've edited my post ^^ to add a new scan which apparently didn't make the cut when the magazine went to press. It's a great pic and sort of makes up for the inexcusable oversight TPTB at Teen Vogue made... but... just barely!

It's very frustrating to see Rupert always seeming to get the short end of the stick... I could understand and accept more readily if it had been Dan alone on the cover, because of being Harry, but to have Emma there... without any sign of Rupert, it's just unforgivable.

I heard that they might be doing a Vanity Fair interview soon, if true i hope at least we have an equal interview and cover with all three of them.
