CHERRY BOMB is a gritty thriller about three teenagers: Luke, Malachy, and Michelle as they embark on a wild weekend of drink, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. But what starts out as a game turns deadly serious when the three discover that they can't get off the wild ride they've set in motion.

Malachy was whipped as hell!!!!!! He fell hard for her. One scene Michelle called Malachy and started talking dirty to him and he was having dinner with his family and he is like, Come on Michelle not now...... He kept saying Michelle like in a vulnerable in love voice and she loved it and played off of it. One scene he is dripping wet soaked from the pool in his clothes and kissing her, long kissing scene!!!!!

For those who asked about Rupert's performance in general: You thought before that he was good? He was... he did... he... just... We cannot even begin to express how AMAZING he was as Malachy!
We left the theatre being "Ron Who?! Ben Who?! Rupert Who?!"
He was amazing, as were Robbie and Kim. There was no bad scene, the three were brilliant together, and Rupert and Robert have such a similar way to perform stuff in that amazingly subtle performance that just blows you ]away when they're on screen together!

The bloody-Malachy scene:
The teens have a party at the Leisureplex to get back at Crilly ("Come to Titanic to sink down with us" o similar to that). In the morning, Crilly arrives and slaps Michelle to the floor. He then beats the **** out of Malachy when Mal goes to defend her. And then Luke gets involved...

so far, I have no clue who could meet his death so young in life ...

... but I have to always think of what Kristi posted on the HP board once - how Luke and Michelle were dressed in black, like they got to a funeral and Malachy looking all pale, like dead and ...
