I don't think that anyone can replace Lane in this play. If we really see what most viewers are saying, Lane is practically half the reason this show is going so well. I'm not saying that it can't be good without him, but i don't see the point (besides money) of extending a play where the lead actor is out. And because of that, i don't think it would be a good idea for Rupert to stay if Lane is out.

Yeah I think because the play is doing so well they want to extend it. I am not sure fans really mind who is there. I think official reviews mention lane, but I think fans will still come. Many of them I've read on twitter, are going for Rupert. However, there are the Broadway fans as well who want to see a good play.
However, it doesn't say anything is official as yet. So we will see __________________

Well the article says the others were almost signed on, only Nathan would be leaving, so I think they will stay. Not sure how much money they can get from Broadway.

Damn that's a long extension. Good for them, and everyone else is coming back?
I guess no filming movies for Rupert until after that. Hopefully he films some movies soon, I remember after the last play he did in London he took aa break because he had said it was exhausting. __________________

I think I've only seen him in 1 film, maybe he has a good reputation on Broadway?
