The Boatox (OT Thread #3) : We're sailing down the river of sexy bodies

Yeah, new thread. Not so creative title so if you don't like it, sue me!

And if you want the last thread, it's here.

I actually like it.

So tired. Worked all day...wasn't great. Pretty slow today. Dealt with some interesting characters. Needless to say, I left with only five sales. Came home and had some Mac 'n Cheese, watched 'How I Met Your Mother' and have been posting on FF since.

Looks like the only new shows I'm watching are Heroes, The Class, and Brothers & Sisters. I couldn't get into The Nine or Jericho. And I attempted to enjoy Six Degrees and Studio 60, but it wasn't happening.

I love Studio 60. Heroes is good, but I think I hyped it up too much for myself to actually enjoy it right now.

And mac n' cheese sounds wonderful, Ken. Sadly enough, I could eat it everyday and never tire of it.

Really? I am enjoying Heroes so much. Every week is just better then the last. It's really going somewhere. Entertainment Weekly proclaimed "It's saving the TV season!" in their latest issue...and their right.

I am addicted to EasyMac... It's so good. I tend to use two packets, though. Having just the one is never enough for me. And I'm also addicted to Raumen Noodles. I have this whole case of Chicken soup and it takes 3 minutes to heat up. I think I might bring some with me to work...makes sense.

RAMEN! I'm probably the only college student who loves Ramen. And yeah, EasyMac is the best. I usually buy the the one with the bigger servings just so I don't have to make two. It's like making 1.5 packets but still good. I usually have it for lunch though between classes.

Oh. I'll have to get that next time. Thanks for the tip.

Alright, I think it's time I go to bed. I have to be at work by 9am tomorrow...and after I get out of work, my friend and I will be sitting back and watching 90210 S1 on DVD all night long...she's an uber-fan and her mission is make me a fan. And I think she's also going to attempt to get me into Melrose Place, too. We'll see.

Hi y'all! I'm kinda new to the board and I've been avoiding some threads, as I still haven't caught up with the show and don't want to spoil myself too much.

Ken, you're not a fan of Melorse? You *must* get hooked, it's such a classic show. Not to mention...MARCIA!

I grew up with MP. All my friends were crazy about 90210, I was always the weird kid who'd skip it and watch that crazy show that came on afterwards.

Just because she is locked up with one of them doesn't mean she doesn't have a choice. Kate can dismiss Sawyer if that is what is really in her heart.

Your a Jate fan Ken? To each his own I guess. I've always seen Jack more like Kate's older brother. Looking down on her and always being disappointed in her.

As far as not liking any character on the show that would be Jack for me. He's so stuck up and full of himself.

Word. I cannot stand Jack or Jate... I do kinda like Jack with Juliet though.

Anyway... Wednesday. Skate. Oh yeah.

Sawyer and Jin/Sun were the only redeeming parts of that show for me in the end. Even then it wasn't enough for me to hold on to.

Stjepo, I hope you can get caught up soon! How far back are you?

Tonight is the night!

I also do like the idea of Jack and Juliet. At least he doesn't treat her like a child.

My night starts at 6pm weekdays, with Everwood, Scrubs, ?, ?, ?, Daily Show, Colbert Report. ? = Primetime Show

I could eat Man and Cheese constantly and never tire of it. It's what I had for lunch today.

The writers didn't really make her be in a situation where she has a choice. She's locked in a cage across from Sawyer. If Jack were in Sawyer's place and vice versa ... much different outcome. But, hey it was a crappy episode/half season ... hopefully the writers come back and make some quick edits and just bring some life back into the show. Talk about a non-climactic cliffhanger.
