I've seen a planning thread on a few boards where they usually discuss planning
celebrations and posting challenges etc. I have been posting in the threads since
January about merging, but the threads have been inactive and pushed behind
closed ones. So, I figured why not start one for a thread mergers discussion that
can be closed by the MM after the discussion ends etc.

So, when I was making the board guide code a while back i noticed there were dead
threads back from 2010. I was thinking why not merge them into single threads?
Others can chip in and discuss which threads they think should be merged?

We've already merged all the harry potter threads into one Hermione thread, but
there's others. I believe that this will not only make threads more active, but it will
also help clean up the board.

Mergers:
Hermione and Characters #1: Title To Be Decided
Hermione and Luna
Hermione and Neville
Fred, George and Hermione

REASON: They are all inactive threads and merging into one Hermione and Characters threads allows for discussions with other characters like Bellatrix etc.

Hermione & Ginny [ Emma & Bonnie ] #2: Because they gave each other boy advice and got their guys too!

I agree with you Usually i'd have no problem with having separate threads for cast and characters, but the actor threads are so dead and i'd love to bring more traffic into the current ones.

We'll wait for everyone else, I'm sure the mod will pop in eventually and give us her 2 cents and help

i think there was other threads like we could merge teh animation/icons together

I would never merge icons with any other thread. I find it weird that fan art is included in icons already.

Lol ive done it with some boards only cause certain threads dont move as fast. But yer it is still good

I think it's weird that icon threads are merged with others, because icon threads to me contain OP's of icons board members have made and are filled with their arts. It's a place for them to showcase icons others can use too.

That is true but i know with the boards i have videos/aniations dont always get post , people still post their icons but if you find a cute srt work thst you want to show you can as we ll as some cool icons and threads it would be a general fan art thread . Buf we dont habe to do it here

The board i post on they're all very popular singular, this board it's popular too so I wouldn't see a need to merge

Maybe you guys can merge all the body part threads into the body thread. Merging the actor/character threads is probably a good idea too.

The body parts could be merged there.
