Oh, I think MTV only lets US people watch it. It checks our IP adresses

Kateh, try reloading the page over and over again! Sometimes Youtube cuts the videos short when it's in a bad mood.

Yeah! I'm so glad there were skeletons. XD It was sort of dark with what the lyrics implied but I think he brought out the trumpety happy side... if that made any sense

I definately agree! I love the sadness of WYWY but this is just on another level. It's so awesome. I love the part where that girl dives in the pool and you can see her turn into a skeleton. It's sort of like PotC.

So I watched the video for 'Somebody Told Me' on MTV last night and seeing it made me realise just how much they've changed, both in terms of the sound and how the look (Ronnie! and Brandon. Handlebar moustache. What are you thinking of!)

Ann: It's really not that big of a pit.
Leslie: We can do some of those things.

No problem Tar!

Augh same here! I keep listening to Hot Fuss right after I listen to Sam's Town and I sort of feel this sense of anti-climax. I still love the album, but Sam's Town is so much bigger and you can hear how much they have changed.

It's sad and exciting at the same time

Hey - but change and development in bands are always a good thing. You don't want them stuck in a rut, do ya?

Oh no! Definately not. I am glad their sound has developed, it's so much bigger now, it'll be interesting to see what comes next. I don't know if they can top this (however I didn't think they could top Hot Fuss and I was proved wrong, so I hope I will be again! ^_^)

Okay. Now that I'm over my Tim Burton fangirling, I gotta say, I expected more from the video I thought it was super cool and entertaining, but it didn't convey the emotions of the song to me...*ducks rotten tomatoes*

So far, with the When You Were Young video, and the Bones one, I gotta say I prefer the Hot Fuss videos! I think the WYWY video was beautifully done and shot, but the story's a bit repetitive. And Bones didn't reach it's full potential! When you see Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Nightmare before Christmas, and then the Bones video, it's like...meh I know it's unfair to compair MOVIES with a 3 minute video clip, but still I guess my expectations were a bit too high 'cause I worship Tim

So yeah, so far I prefer some Hot Fuss videos over these two The US Mr. Brightside one OWNS me, it's simple and cliched but it reaches me for some reason And the US ATTID kicks ass, too. I want more stuff like that.

(I'm bitter today, sorry)
