Yeah, but the difference is very subtle. I prefer Hot Fuss' version, though.

I really like "Show You How" and the lo-fi answering machine at the beginning and how the song is taken out of the machine and it really kicks in. I always liked this song, I caught my attention since the first time because of the unusual start.

I prefer the Hot Fuss version, too

Me, too! That beginning adds so much to the song. Brandon sounds drunk, which I think was the point

Yeah, it would make perfect sense in the song.

I've got a question... what B-side do you think that should be in Sawdust and that wasn't?

'Desperate' and 'Waiting for love' I love both songs so much, and the only recordings available are really crappy, especially the 'Waiting for love' one. What about you?

I agree. But there are other two that was a crime not to add them to the album: "Replaceable" and "Oh Yeah, By The Way"!

I agree! 'Replaceable' especially, it would've sounded even more amazing with a better recording, and it'd fit the vibe of the album.

Indeed. I always thought about "Replaceable" as a song with a lot of potential.

Did you like 'Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf'? I love the lyrics 'cause of The Murder Trilogy but I don't love the song itself.

Well, I like it, I don't love it. I prefer "Tranquillize".
Plus, the other two songs of The Murder Trilogy are way better.

When I listen to all three of them in order I think they all balance each other out perfectly, 'cause LTBOTS is supposed to be the first one so it's not as intense, but when I compare them songs individually, it's definitely the weakest.

I wish they 'used' the Murder Trilogy more. I wanted like a super cool epic video with all three songs and the whole story being told

The thing is, The Murder Trilogy is more a fan thing. Most people who listen to The Killers have no idea about it. And it doesn't make sense to make a video only for the fans. It's too expensive. But, yeah, it would be amazing!

True, most people have no idea about it But it's so genius, it's sad to see it kinda 'wasted'. Someone should write a book about it or something *adds to 'Things to do before I die' list*

Aren't there any articles about it? Maybe you should write one.
