Yeah, I think we're all in the same situation.

Though this friend of mine who likes The Killers knows all the Somebody Told Me lyrics and she loves to sing it out loud.

This is one of the songs that remind me of her the most. Once they played Somebody Told Me at a party we were at and I was already very drunk so I started singing it to her

Oh, by the way, have you guys ever listened to The Killers while you were drunk? Cos I get all excited when I'm drunk at a party and they play The Killers!

I have ONE friend who has really good taste in music who really likes The Killers but he doesn't count 'cause he knows a bunch of awesome indie bands and he's just a different type of person

My regular friends are pretty clueless when it comes to them.

I did, once

There's a super cool club here called "Outs", it has live rock bands, but before the bands come out to play, they play some music videos on a giant screen, and they played The Killers' 'Somebody Told Me' once and I was super drunk and so was my friend and we had so much fun

I think I have a few friends who like them (it's easier in the US, I think), but I don't know anyone who I haven't met from this board who will talk about them the same way.

So I've got something to ask you guys...
'Everything Will Be Alright' is a song I didn't like so much when I first heard it, but some time later I started to really like it. It's a different song from most of their material and it sounds so experimental, which makes it really interesting.
So I'd like to know if there are any songs that you didn't like so much at first and started to like it some time later.

I was like that with 'Everything Will Be Alright', too

I used to skip it when I listened to Hot Fuss

But I love it now, especially the guitar solo

Same thing with 'My List'. It was my least favorite out of Sam's Town, but now I really like it. The opposite thing happened to 'Why do I keep counting?' though, I used to really like it and now I usually skip it

I liked 'My List' since the first time I heard it.

I think it's a good song, but if you compare it to the epicness and awesomeness of Sam's Town, it doesn't really stand out.

'This River Is Wild' is amazing

And it reminds of Jack/Juliet from Lost for some reason

I think I had "All These Things" beat into my head by the radio station here, so it's one I like to skip more and more now.

I've found myself liking things off Sawdust more, just because they haven't been overplayed, though.

I didn't like "Everything will be alright" when I first heard it so I don't think I've listened to it since, however you have inspired me to give it a proper listen

"This river is wild" is one of my favourites from Sam's Town

Which Spiderman movie was "Move Away" on? I want to rent it just to hear The Killers on the soundtrack.
