The only ones who can delete posts are the Moderators (As well as those above them), so for this board they are Luinelwen (who is currently moving back to Australia from Germany so she wont be around for a few days) and I.

Why would you need to though? You are able to edit your posts if need be. The only reason you would need to delete a post is if it is a double post or if it is against the rules, in which case the mods would go ahead and delete it anyway.

It states in the Fan Forum Rules and Guidelines that Double Posting is not allowed, but you are very new here Trent, you're still learning about the website and it's ways. You're taking a very admirable stance and I can understand where you are coming from but it's just something FF has never allowed. Only Moderators and those above can delete posts, and even then it is only on the board they moderate that they are able to do so.

And also, it stops other people just going around deleting anyones posts. If they could limit to you only beaing able to delete your own posts it would probably be ok...but they can't.

imdb.com (my other forum/board does... and it is grand. I just would like the ablitity to fix my mistakes! I make plenty of them

Other Forums and boards do things differently, and to be honest, I find the way FF does them to be better. Everything is more controlled, but it's laid back.
We wont call you up on it everytime, we will just edit, or delete the post.
It's more likely that now we wont even have to, as the Moderators can now merge posts. So if you do double post by accident it wont matter.

I do understand where you are coming from, Trent. Please understand what we are saying too.

I meant call you up as in we wont say 'Hey, Trent don't Double Post'. Not as in phone you.
However if you accidently do it we will just merge or delete the post and leave it at that.

Trent, if you wish to carry on this conversation I'm going to have to ask you to send a Private Message to either Myself or Lysha and we will discuss it over them and not on the board.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Graphics Team Manager has posted a thread at the Moderators board, discussing the process of how a board is chosen for customisation, how they decide on a graphic and colours etc (because we ask as much as you do about when this board will be customised).

I wont be posting the details of the process, I will only be posting about just HOW they choose which boars to design next. They will be getting around to customising every board, it just takes time.
However, Lysha and I felt that you deserve to know the ins and outs of the desicion making.

No, I get it, but that kinda means that if you're stuck in the middle, you won't get costumized soon

How would you classify this board? If has a lot of posts but it doesn't compare to some other boards. So I guess we're kinda in the middle, right?

But yeah, I would say we were in the middle, which does indeed suck. However, there is a new album coming out and if we were customised it would give the board a boost.

I don't know. I just guess we'll have to wait and see. =/

NEWS! One Tree Hill is Fanforums biggest board, it has been known to crash the whole site after a show has aired, due to the overwhelming number of posters. Now it has helped put FF on the Map.

In a Video that showcases all the hype about the new season of OTH, FF is mentioned...
