I think my favorite RL moment is this one:

Luna did not seem preturbed by Ron's rudeness; on the contrary, she simply watched him for a while as though he were a mildly interesting television program.

Luna doesn't mind Ron's rudeness, she's actually interested in it. This is a huge plus if they actually got in a relationship, because Ron is a rude person, even when he doesn't mean to be. He doesn't think twice about what he says, which usually hurts Hermione a lot, since she's really sensitive and would be better of with someone who makes her feel good, like Harry

Luna, on the other hand, would be able to handle this side of Ron's personality with no problems.

JK really ignored the characters personalities when deciding on the final couples. In the real word, HG and RHR would end up divorced in a few years

HHr has the foundation for a real, mature relationship

Ron and Luna had so much potential as well. I loved how Luna was totally unaffected by Rons insults, it would hae put him a little on edge.

Ron is already a very intense character, he should be with someone "loony" who doesn't take the things he says too seriously
