What we know or have seen and all that is not something we've ever discussed on this board. There are other places that let people talk about this, and the bashing gets pretty ugly. Did you know The Killers closed down their old official board because people were beginning to threaten their wives/girlfriends/family?

Precisely why we keep mum about it.

Welcome to The Killers board.

We have a Questions Thread where I will be moving this post to. (Edit: I now have moved it... obviously. XD)

However, to answer your question I don't know anybody who has spare Blackpool tickets. The show is Sold Out. Your best bet is to listen to Radio One, as they are supposed to be giving some more away. You could also try out the Offical Killers Community where there are a lot more English people, more likely to have spare tickets.

There have been no other dates for the UK announced.

Hey Bonnie! I'm sorry, but on this board we don't discuss the bands wives/girlfriends or personal lives. This board is about The Killer and their music. Not their partners.

See, and we just had this discussion about two posts above you my dear girl, and if it helps, I'll quote myself as to why we don't talk about them:

We just don't want that to start here. Again, sorry.

Am I a weird person for not knowing anything about their partners/wives, and never thinking of asking?

Because I have never asked. I have never cared, actually. For me it's about the music, man. (I know, how clichéd). I mean, I was curious about Franz, but not The Killers.

Still, I'm not going to find out more anyway. It's just not that important. And the bashing thing is just pure jealousy and is very stupid.

Ann: It's really not that big of a pit.
Leslie: We can do some of those things.

Same here, Gwen. For the longest time I didn't search out other fans, because I just wasn't curious about their private lives. It was their music that I loved, not them individually.
But then I met them and well got a little more curious. However, having seen the way other fans screech and bash and whatnot, sort of made me not want to be like them.

I guess I'm happier off, not knowing.

Yeah, Robyn and I are big on the whole idea that we'd rather just not know, because you know, we do tend to put them on these pedestals, and you know what? They're human, just like everyone else, and the idea we have of them is most definately not true.

So everyone is better off just being in the blank.

I completely agree. It'll be a disapointment and then just ruin your whole perception of them. (and yeah I guess this topic is OT, but I do like the conversation. )
I found that with Orlando Bloom. When I began finding more out about him, I realised his flaws and it's by no fault of his! Just the condition of being a fan I guess.

It's the whole saying they have in football: don't meet your idols, you'll realise their feet are stuck in clay.

The problem with being famous is that everyone starts "owning" a bit of the celebrity, and so cannot come to terms that the celebrity is a person who has his/her own faults, his/her private lives...and should be treated just like everyone else.

I completely agree. So many people feel like celebrities 'Owe' them something... what it is I'm not entirely sure. But there you go. The trials of being a fan and of having fans, eh?

That's the problem of being a celebrity!

But then again millions of people out there still want to be famous

Hello

I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask

Could anyone please tell me if there is any website where I can find live performances and listen to rare Killers stuff aside from what's posted on YouTube? I'd really appreciate it. I just can't get enough of them Thanks!
