I know exactly what it's like to have several ships screwed up, happened to all my ship on 24 - and when I say screwed over, I mean it in THE worst way possible. But that never made me go "oh let's not get my hopes up", and it never made me dislike the show, I think just because a story doesn't go exactly the way you wanted doesn't mean it's not a good story, it just depends on how you look at it.
