Yeah we don't that holiday but I think I heard it was a holiday as alot of companies have that day off in the east.

It's brand new to us this year. I thought it was wide spread but I guess not. Oh wait, I think I heard that Alberta has it too. Not BC huh? Well maybe down the road. I guess there was a demand for a midwinter holiday since there's such a long time in between Christmas and Easter. So our provincial government decided to make Family Day in February. I don't know if it's always going to be the 16th though. Maybe it's the 3rd monday of February every year.

But my parents are in Australia right now so for me it's just going to be an ordinary day I guess.

Many reasons. I wasn't asked being #1. It was a cruise around Australia and New Zealand and they only had 4 tickets left so they went with another couple that they're friends with.

And anyway I'd rather go with my friends than be stuck on a big boat with my retired parents. How sad would that look.

I hope so too but I get not wanting to go with your rents only. I mean I went with a ton of relatives once which was really fun. But yes I'd rather go with friends.

The most I've been is to Victoria with friends, but out of the the province is not happen, let alone out of the country, not until I graduate anyway

The only place I've been out of the country with friends with was back in highschool on our spring break trip to Florida.

I'd love to go on a cruise with friends. Man we'd have fun.

Guys, my mom decided that she wants to stay in London for a little while this summer...I'm trying very hard to not freak out and start dancing. I'm so excitedd!

I think she might be doing it on purpose, because she knows how badly I'd like to visit London, and it is my sweet sixteen this summer..

Never been out the country. Not even to Canada and that is just North of Wisconsin(where I live).

I would love to travel though.
