What's great about it is how dry and mature it is. Even years ago he understood the complexity of a dry wit. That to me says they spoke to him on a level that never under-appreciated his intelligence. But at the same time I can remember a time back in the POA days where he was able to watch R-rated files with his dad. So were still very careful with how much adult content he was exposed to. A careful balance.

Being an only child must have something to do with it. I wonder if Dan has ever said he wished he had siblings.

I wish Dan had siblings. An older brother or two, about 10 years older, so some of us could feel better. Why did Marcia and Alan not have more children? That's there biggest flaw that I see.

Yes, wouldn't it be great if Dan has siblings too? It could be lonesome when you're an only child I think.

And he's wise beyond his age, he loves to read too, and growing up in HP movie set with so many talented adults around, that could have help in his maturity too.

Him being so down to earth, Alan and Marcia, great parents indeed!

They really do seem to be terrific parents.

But even if he did have siblings I think he's proven that he'd be a great older brother. His portrayal in DB left that impression on me. And how the other boys spoke so kindly about him. He was very nurturing with them on set, just like an older brother would be. Very sweet.

Oh, I think Dan would be a wonderful older brother. I think he would have liked siblings. I mean mine drive me crazy but I can still imagine how lonely I would be without them. Someone should ask him.
