A new thread dedicated to the appreciation of Dan's parents Marcia Gresham and Alan Radcliffe.

It's quite obvious that while we fawn over Dan and his talents there's two people that deserve a great deal of praise for raising such a well adjusted, mature, self reliant and sensitive young man we see before us. And what other fan forum board can say that? Give it up for the parentals man!

While their dealings with Peter Shaffer, in their bid to secure the rights to revive the play, go back eight years and their passion for the work itself, in both cases, goes to their youth, Pugh's association with Daniel Radcliffe goes right back to the teen star's birth. "Daniel's mum [Marcia Gresham] was my assistant when I had offices on Shaftesbury Avenue," Pugh explains. "So I was there for his birth at Charing Cross hospital, and, when she came back after three weeks, she brought him with her. Daniel spent the first nine months of his life in my office in a moses basket!"

When you study their resemblance you can see Dan gets his smile and nose and eye colour from his dad and his hair colour, eye shape and bone structure including his height from his mom. A nice combo.
