I was wondering that too. Maybe they had to redo a scene after he shaved his head and had to get a wig or something. or it could just be the hair cut they did right before that.

I would love to ask Dan what his level of discomfort was with the role (when he first read the script and then eventually filmed it). Because the photos are uncomfortable.
