Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture suggestions or colour ideas, please post them on this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible.

Your suggestions for possible colors and pictures will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customization process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or ask them on the message board customization thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

Note: It usually takes less than 2 weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic & colours get put up, it will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

I'd like to keep it in the blue family but that's just my colour preference. Nothing lighter than what we have though.

As for pics, I'd like to see these being used.

I kinda like a bright green color, though a different shade of blue works for me as well.

I'm sorry about that, but we always do take all suggestions into consideration, but sadly it doesn't always work out. We do try, though

Do you guys have any links to specific photoshoots you like? We usually try to use several pictures from the same shoot, so any input would be really helpful!

I like all the photos suggestion. I do like the light blue we have at the moment though a different colour works for me too, as long as we can see our text, like Mel said.

Yet as I recall you still really loved it - trust us. We do consider your suggestions, but ultimately they are just suggestions because sometimes pictures or colors won't work.

Yeah, well I was being encouraging back then Jenn so as not to seem ungrateful at the time. You put in alot of hard work I'm sure so my gut reaction would have been extremely inappropriate. Sorry.

I am fully aware what your job entails as I do it for a living, sometimes pics don't work. I get that.

While using pics from the same photoshoot works for the most part. It IS possible to group a selection of different shots and make them work just as well. Infact it shows his diversity in changing up his looks over time. I wouldn't dismiss this option.

We have now finished making all the graphics and picked a winner, so this thread will now be closed until the colours & graphic have been set up - then I'll re-open it so you can tell us what you all think!

Wow! A year and two months later! BAM! Nicely done. I guess it's like fine wine right? You have to let it age.

Honestly I thought the re-customization was scraped because our post counts were so low, it was decided we didn't deserve it anymore Glad to be wrong, then.

I love the colours. The header pics are like 4 years old but I suppose Dan has that forever youthful look it doesn't matter. So good job.
