"DJ: Awesome year for Sawyer and it was great to see that transition. What was it like to play that, to see, kind of like, Sawyer step up and be like this great boyfriend and great leader?
JH: Well, at first, it was a little scary, cause I was like, I had gotten comfortable in being a bit of an 'ass', if you will, and just playing that side of the character, I really enjoyed and I was a little nervous of 'oh no, am I going lose the edge of the character by actually having a relationship and trying to be a leader' and all that sort of thing. So, at first, yeah I was a little nervous about it. But I was also excited to do something different because you're on a show, you get into a rhythm of your character and after awhile you want to explore something different. So, they, the writers, enabled me to do that and it turned out fine, I think. And it was alot of fun working with Elizabeth Mitchell and developing that relationship. What we had three scenes to develop it, I think, so we were a little bit like'OMG, how we gonna sell this in three scenes? Like we've been together and we love each other.' At first that was a little daunting and then once we got into it, it seemed really natural and thank goodness I was working with such a professional, she's so good. That was just a lot of fun to explore, as an actor.
DJ: And the season finale, of course, goes and breaks our hearts.
JH: Oh ya.
DJ: What was it like preparing for that moment? Was that tough?
JH: It's funny, those scenes. Yes and no. As life goes on and my life gets more enriched by getting married, having children - I just have a newborn, now - the stakes have risen in my life. So, now it's easier to play a scene, where possibly losing that comes into play. So, that's how I prepared. I have a newborn on the way and I was just thinking, well I had to think, well, what if that was taken away? And, there you go. Roll camera."

I opened the thread, but next time whoever wants to do it and fears to screw something up, can wait until we're both online so if anything goes wrong, I can use the mod tools to fix it. It's nice to have all of us take our turn in opening a new thread.

I didn't have time to make changes to the OP, but we definitely need to have some new stuff there in time for the next thread.
I like that they were portrayed like a long time couple, so comfortable and at ease around each other... BUT it's not like I would've said no to seeing some more making out, lol. It would've been nice to have it on DVD, at least. Because we're shippers, hence obsessed even with the smallest things.
I think some people asked the episode's director about it on twitter, but I have no idea if he replied or what he said if he did.

Yes Mark Goldman (the la fleur director) did reply to Nanda! and he said something about " he bites her shirt open" and "she use her toes on opening his shirt"s!lol! and he was openly pro suliet on his replied tweets to Nanda too!

and yeah! it would have been nice that they would have included that extended kissing scene on the actual cut of the scene or a deleted scene!

Thank you guys, but I just "borrowed" our ship name from Jeff Jensen , so he deserves the credit. FanForum is such a huge community, and that makes it hard to be sure you pick a ship name that no other group/board is already using - this one is without a doubt unique though, and I love that.
Oh my! I had totally missed all of that! Gotta love that he played along with the fans. He already sounded very nice in that interview on Lost magazine.
Adding that as extra to the box set with the full S1-S6 series would have made up for the fact that we didn't get the BTS of the S/J reunion in the finale, with the cast celebrating Liz's birthday.
Of course! I will send you the instructions first thing as I log-in tomorrow (because right now I don't have much time before I go offline ).

Sawyer's story had always centered about feeling in peace with himself one day, feel worthy and find a balance, so he could love without holding back and accepted to be loved in return. He started doing that since the very first days he crashed on the island but it was with Juliet that he fully reached that balance, and lasting happiness.
