Is that someone's leg behind him?

No, but it looks like it could be.

Thanks for the pic, Roseli.

Season 5 had to be the worst season for Sayid. He was completely underused and unconscious for too much of it.

Thanks for the photo.

I hated how they resolved Sayid's storyline with Ben - Oh, you've killed all the bad guys, thank you for your services, see you.
I don't know what's in store for him now that they've basically told him that he's always been a murderer at heart - that was the only storyline they covered in the second part of S5.

I don't think any season will ever top S2 as the worse for Sayid, but S5 is pretty damn close. I don't know what's in store for him next season, but I'm fearing for his life. If some big war is indeed happening, I can't think of anyone who would be more useful than Sayid.

He has to survive a gun shot and even with the island's healing powers , it should take a while for him to be running through the jungle.

I have no idea what structure will have next season. Another time jump at some point would fix a lot of "problems" and allow Sayid to be in the action, but that trick has gotten old and would ruin the tension of the final confrontations.

That's why it's so hard to speculate. We really don't know what next season will look like. ME was totally spot on about that.

I just hope the writers won't go for any of the scenarios I'm dreading the most, like a S1 2.0.

It would be hilarious to hear Naveen try to come up with a theory. I wonder how he feels about the route they've been following with his character, I think he's in the "whatever" phase at this point though.

Naveen has been in the "whatever" phase since S2, lol. I think he's just ready to move on. Which seems to be the case with most of them. Josh, Jorge and DDK seem to be the only three keen on staying in Hawaii after the show is over.

So Jorge wants to stay there, too? I didn't know that.

I very much understand Naveen just wanting to finish the job and then say sayonara to Lost and anything related. He has said it aloud that S1 was great and will always be in his heart, but now it's all just well paid work.
I feel guilty for slipping into the "whatever" feeling about Sayid, maybe my old love will come back in S6.

Yeah, I recall Jorge mentioning in a recent interview that he might consider staying after the show is wrapped up.

Sayid is still one of my faves. And if dies (which seems very likely), I'll be devastated. Although it's S6 and all bets are off, but still.

I think I could take Sayid's death pretty well right now, although it's not like I'll throw a party or anything if it happens, lol.
To be honest with Locke and Juliet gone, Sawyer is the only one I would go truly emotional if he they died.
And with truly emotional I mean attempting to jump off a window in his specific case.

BTW was I the only one who was still expecting some WTF revelation about the circumstances surrrounding Nadia's death? I should stop seeing more than it's there in everything.

Well, Ben certainly did make it seem like there was some kinda shady factor in why Nadia was killed. But it was was probably nothing more than Ben just manipulating Sayid into killing for him.

I just think they resolved the whole thing in too much of an underwhelming way, I don't know what I was expecting but smething a bit more complex than Ben lying and taking advantage of an accident, that's routine for him, lol.
