~ Favourite Quotes & Scenes ~

Sayid: Have you got something to say to me, Sawyer, or are you going to continue asking me questions you know I don't have the answers to?
Sawyer: Tide's coming up the beach. Plane hull's almost in the water. Kept your signal fire burning.

(ep. 1x11 - All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues)

Sayid: Boar took your tarp?
Sawyer: It was dark, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it was a boar.
Sayid: I thought the boar had vacated this area?
Sawyer: Well, genius, I think we got some bad info.
Sayid: What was he doing inside your tent?
Sawyer: It was staring at me. Then it came at me, so I hit it, and it ran off into the jungle.
Sayid: With your tarp? Perhaps he wanted to go camping?
Sawyer: You enjoying yourself?
Sayid: Yes.
Sawyer: Well, laugh it up, Mohammad. But I come back and find my stuff's gone, I'm coming after you.

(ep. 1x16 - Outlaws)

Sayid [approaching Jack and Sawyer]: Those are the guns, aren't they? What are you doing with them?
Sawyer: What do you think we're doing? It's time to finish this.
Sayid: When do we leave?
Sawyer: In the morning.
Jack: You're not coming, Sayid.
Sayid: Excuse me?
Jack: Michael wants to keep it small. Me, Kate, Hurley, and him.
Sawyer: Yeah, well, him says even though Pippy Longstocking and the damn Grape Ape are ideal candidates for the Dirty Dozen. I'm just going to say we might just want to bring the Red Beret.
Jack: It's Michael's call. He knows where we're going.
Sayid: It is not his call, Jack. It's ours.
Sawyer [handing Sayid a gun]: Welcome aboard.

(ep. 2x22 - Three Minutes)

~ Reasons why we love 'Team Sawyid' ~

- Because they respect each other.
- Because Sayid was the only one who noticed something was wrong with Sawyer when he returned from his treck with Locke.

Thanks for the new thread Maria and great title Fran .

I know Josh is most likely very grateful for having a regular acting job and that it happens to be on one of the biggest TV shows in America, but I still feel it wouldn't hurt for him to give a bit more away regarding his opinions on the show . Perhaps he does know something we don't, I'd love for it to be that he has a major storyline coming up soon or something along those lines, unfortunately I just don't have enough faith on the producers and so on for this to be likely.

Naveen has got a good storyline going on right now and I have to wonder if part of that is down to the fact he is public with his feelings, good or bad, about the show.

You could have a point Louise. I really appreciate Naveen's honesty and the fact that he has no problem letting his feelings known.

That said, I completely disagree with most media critics and Lost actors who go as far as claiming this season is as good as the first one. No freaking way! Sayid is one of the few charcaters who benefitted in season 4.

Maria, thanks for the new thread!

Maybe Naveen put them in front of a choice, give me something to do or wrap up Sayid's story and I'm off. I can see him doing something like that, actually. And I don't blame him, quite the contrary.
But I also understand why Josh might not have said anything so far: he doesn't have a movie career to fall back into, or expand, he's moving his first steps with the big screen and 'Whisper' wasn't exactly a lucky move. Also, Sawyer has been hugely featured in S3 while Sayid's suffered both in S2 and S3, and then there has been the strike which messed up soem things, both for the show and perhaps even for Josh (in case he was in talk for some project).

Not saying he is doing a wise thing in case he doesn't speak his mind with the producers, but I can actually see why after only 8 bad episodes he is still holding hope onto the following ones... that's basically what we are all doing before labelling S4 as the crappiest season so far, lol.

And I'm with Misty: I can't see how so many people among the cast, the fans and the media in general can say this season is great. They have often made caricatures out of the characters to advance the plot, and ignored their emotional condition to deliver random scenes. We still have no idea who the Others were and what's going on with the island, the "amazing twists" were pure meh stuff and only Sayid and Desmond haven't been humiliated, one way or the other, in the first 8 episodes. But above all, how can you compare this season to S1, which was 100% character development and paid enourmous attention to the relationships and interaction between the characters.

Misty, thanks for posting the alternate promotional photos.
Looks to me like among those variations, they chose the less flattering one for Sayid as the official shot.

If anyone was wondering where the title is coming from, here is the bit of the interview where Naveen mentioned how he and Sawyer were Tarantino's favorite characters in Lost:

Quote:
"I know that Robert was aware of 'Lost,' but Quentin was and is a big fan of the show," Andrews said in a recent @ The Movies interview. "He said to me at the read-through of the script that my character and Josh Holloway's character, Sawyer, were his favorites on the show. That was incredibly flattering. It kind of surprised me. You don't think you're a part of popular culture when you're an individual that's involved with it."

I would say we have quite a famous honorary Sawyider on our side.
Lindelof should listen to him.

Indeed we do! The show should be all about Sawyer and Sayid anyway.

A Sawyer/Sayid(/Desmond) spin-off would put the original series to shame.

Sure, I like her. But only if you allow me to keep Sun, too.

That's fine with me! Sun and Juliet are the only two females cool enough to hang with our exclusive man sandwich.

I approve this statement so, so much.

We have seen Juliet in team with Sayid this year and it was awesome, and the Sawyer/Juliet convo trekking back to the beach in TTLG is one of my favorite scenes in that episode. About Sun, I hate the idea her relationship with Sawyer will probably never get a resolution, I wanted to see some sign she had fogiven him, their interaction could be quite interesting.

I saw this Sawyer/Sayid slash fic on LJ the other day, it's PG rated so safe for me , it's short but pretty nice, if anyone is interested:
