One of the things that she managed to find out is that they are also about to film a death on the show. The info is being kept very secret currently and we don't have details of who the death will involve. Hopefully she'll have some more info soon which she'll be able to pass onto us.

LOST-TV Forums: Filming sightings

From TourniquetMan: "They are here right now as I type this, in my town shooting a scene. Whitmore Village in Wahiawa, There seems to be a lot of activity near down a path leading to a stream area.
They were asking for kids in tattered clothing as extras, Josh Halloway was sighted."

From HaleiwaDiva: I saw them filming in Whitmore Village yersterday too,TourniquetMan. They were right behind the baseball field. It looked like they might have been filming in a house right there. I didn't see anyone outside, just the big white trailers and the usual signs.

From Jacobe via DarkUFO's blog - First filming sightings

I live in Kalihi, Hawaii. Yesterday, LOST was filming on N King Street by the Discount Store and Tamashiro Market, for those that live in Hawaii.
I was able to spot Josh Halloway (Sawyer). So I'm assuming a Sawyer flashback. OR maybe a flash-forward??
The scene involved a car being chased by two police cars, leading to the first car to jump a ramp and crash.
That's all I was able to see.
Sorry, I wasn't able to record or take pictures.

Rumors

October 17, 2007

The Odi replies to the Turkish rumors asking his source
- Sawyer has NOT filmed a FF and the FFs are being kept very secretive with a very small crew.
- The death will be a MAIN character that is a fan favorite and a male character, plus it will occur on island most likely by mid-season. It will be likely one of the four: Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid or Jin.

By Turkish blogger Dizidizi who got spoilers from an extra (corrections by ozguroyus)
- "None of the actors actually knows EXACTLY who was in the coffin" - "The guy in the coffin is not Sawyer, Ben or Michael" and in addition it's written that we CAN be SURE about this.
- They have filmed a Sawyer-centric flashforward.

- Two more Losties will die....a male and a female. The male will die on the island, while the female will die in a FLASHFORWARD via suicide.

Blog reader Alicia Chang and her coworker Shannon Fera did some scouting this morning, and it looks like filming is currently underway at Toys N Joys on Waialae Avenue.

They're speculating that it's part of a flash-forward scene, and I have to agree. Somehow I don't think that a 'Charme Beaute Salon: Room 3 Upstairs' would be commonly found in South Korea...

So, Jin won't be dying on the island either. Hm...
I think I'll send a very specific question to Ausiello tomorrow.

I have no idea, I feel like it may happen, but it's also possible that they go back, or that some characters are left behind (at the moment, I'm not really considering the last scenario realistic anymore, though).

If we only look at the status of the character, I agree. But killing Sun and the unborn baby would be cruel, so maybe people would be shocked to see it happen so soon, and maybe not because of the pregnancy complications. Also, Jorge could have considered Juliet and Ben's popularity and/or the praising they got last year and saw them as "big deaths" too.

I don't know what to think about Odi. I was re-reading a set of rumors and in the presentation of them, he says that before posting the stuff he has had to clarify some stuff with the sources, then in his comments below each spoiler (the ones he put in red) he goes all WTF about their possible meaning.
I want to speculate about his rumors until thery are proved fake for good, but my skepticism is still there in full force.

I still can't see Sun being killed off. It might have something to do with my conviction that Miles is her son.

Besides, if she were to die, I'd expect her to get an episode early on.
Juliet and Ben also didn't get an episode so far this season.
I could maybe see them killing off Ben, mainly because he seems to have a lot of answers. That leaves Sawyer and him for me.

I don't get Odi or his source(s) either, but his info usually seems pretty believable.

They could've just decided that it's not worth using their characters anymore (for instance, the Annie thing was mentioned in a podcast in the beginning of the summer, when a lot of things could still change in the plans). And Juliet isn't off the outcast list yet (although we've gotten news about the actress and pics in which she seems to be ok with the rest of the cast).

Just because most of the stuff that sounds more legit has ben already mentioned by other, reliable sources.

Also, we have just gotten at least one of his sources debunked.

I don't know either, but I just have a feeling that they won't be writing many more FBs for the original Losties. They will probably do it for Desmond, Juliet, Ben and new characters.
The fact that Sayid will get a FF so early makes me think that we'll see more characters after the rescue than I thought we would. It seems like they don't plan on keeping the suspence about who'll make it off and who won't.

It's just my impression, but I could be wrong.

I agree with that, but there is always the possibility that there is something they haven't told us yet about the characters' back stories (although "shocking" and Jin and Sun seem to be an oxymoron). Maybe they're assuming we are concentrating on the post-island moments, and there is some TWF revelation in the pre-island time? For instance, if Hurley and Sawyer gets flashbacks in the premiere, we have Lance Reddick's character in Hurley's past.

is Jin wearing a suit in that set photo?
