Spoiler:
CHANDLEY PRICE] : mid 30s to early 40s. Female. She is tough, no-nonsense and beautiful in an unadorned way. She is a therapist by profession and yet could benefit from some therapy herself. The qualities that make her a leader and effective at seeing into other people also cause her problems in her own life -- she can be overly controlling and obsessive. Her strength of personality is undeniable. GUEST STAR/RECURRING

- By sawyer840's blog: Filming news (Jack, Kate, female guest star + *pics*); soon back to the beach
Spoiler:
They were filming today a court scene with Jack and Kate. [...] Earlier I met this mysterious new actress and she told me her name is Susan and she acts as a lawyer. She is an extra and really nice!
I saw a lot of what is behind the scenes and it all was really interesting and i could talk to several people (other actors) and got some information:
Apart from Evie and Matt, no one is filming right now, the other main actors are partly busy with other stuff, other movies or just have leisure time.
Soon they will start filming at the beach again.
The crew is really nice and i was a lucky one today! I could seen policemen, jutors and visitors for the scene and it was really amazing.
And Lost will stay at Wednesday, no one ever heard of the changing to Monday!
They are not filming chronologically, because of the other work of the actors, so all what you"ll watch is not for one special episode, they do the scenes in timing with the actor's other work

- By Ryan's blog: Jack/Kate scene
Spoiler:
Down in the underground parking lot for the capitol building, near the guard booth and lower entrance off Miller St., a clean-shaven, leather-jacket wearing Jack has a brief conversation with the striking, poised Kate we saw at the end of Season 3. Jack steps away from an older, brown pickup truck, not unlike the one Locke drove in one of his flashbacks, to talk to Kate. There’s some awkwardness, but there are also some smiles. Eventually, Jack helps Kate get into a yellow taxi cab, and watches as it drives away.
*
From The Fuselage: The two do cross paths, at least in a parking lot, and apparently they're both in the courtroom scene shooting today.

One of the things that she managed to find out is that they are also about to film a death on the show. The info is being kept very secret currently and we don't have details of who the death will involve. Hopefully she'll have some more info soon which she'll be able to pass onto us.
*
From her blog: On this place beside the Nuuanu Pali Drive, where Ryan recently found the Lost tracks there they shot again: a scene with Kate! Perhaps a flashback! It is the place where they once filmed the scene where Kate, Jack and Charlie found the pilot.

Spoiler:
This morning I went down to the State Capitol Building and saw the filming of a scene involving Kate in a flashback. In the scene, Kate is stepping out of a Town Car which is escorted by police. The building was set to the Los Angeles Criminal Court. When she steps out of the car, there are dozens of camera/news reporters snapping pictures and trying to get an interview. One person even yelled “MURDERER” at her character.

Spoiler:
DJ: "So are you coming back to Lost or what?"
Nestor:
"Um.. no.[laughs] I haven't been contacted by the producers yet; haven't heard anything from them, actually, so I don't know, but I wouldn't
rule anything out. Contractually, I can't do both; I can't be on two networks at the same time. But stranger things have happened. I shot the
Cane pilot before I heard from the LOST producers, they said they wanted me in the last five episodes [of season three]."

*** 'O Globo' scans by Dude!WeAreLost --- Complete transcript
Spoiler:
After three seasons of flashbacks was it inevitable you’d employ flashforwards because there were less ideas for flashbacks? Will we see predominantly flashforwards or will they be compensated with flashbacks?
DL :
Absolutely inevitable . . . not so much as to abandon flashbacks, but at least to find a paradigm for the narration which will develop the nature of the series. With the flashforwards you get a mixture, each week we hope it’ll be a guessing game to of not only WHO the episode is centred on, but WHEN the action is taking place.
The third season distanced Kate and Jack. But the final episode shows their relationship is as strong as ever. Was this deliberate? Why do you want the fans to think they have no chance together?
CC :
The Jack / Kate / Sawyer triangle is something that will continue for a long time. And who says they have no chance?
Since you revealed the secret of the Island is related to Time Travel a lot of unanswered questions seem to have an acceptable explanation. Why did you decide to reveal this?
CC :
When ABC / Disney allowed us to end the show with 48 more episodes it was the time to start a new way of telling the story, which includes flashforwards. The show is like a mosaic. There are pieces in the present, in the past, and now also in the future. When all the pieces are in place, Lost has finished.
Was the person in the coffin at the end of season 3 someone we’ve seen before?
CC :
Yes.
After all the expectation you created with Walt, are we really going to see him again?
CC :
Oh, you’ll see him again. But you’re going to have to be patient. Sorry.
Does the Island have a name? Will we find it out?
DL :
The name of the Island is Herbert Jablonski.
Do you really know what the last image of the last episode of Lost will be?
CC :
Yes, we know what the last image of the show will be, and it won’t be a black screen.
Will you use a lot of flashforwards this season or does that give too much information on who will survive?
CC :
The flashforwards will be a component of season 4. But it’s not true that the flashforward you saw was the end of the show.
How many days have the survivors been on the Island? If you follow that rhythm of days in the next three seasons the pregnant Sun won’t die before the show finishes. Well, at least not as a cause of the pregnancy illness on the Island. Is this right?
DL :
At the end of the third season the survivors have been on the Island for less than a hundred days. Yes, your theory about Sun is correct . . . but don’t forget that we can jump into the future in the next season, so anything can happen.
So you know how the show is going to end, and does it fit into what you had planned from the beginning (at least the concept)?
DL :
We always knew the ending, we didn’t know how long it would take us to get there. So, yes, it still fits completely with the point in the story in which we find ourselves right now. With 48 episodes ahead, it’s exciting to be working towards an ending with which we are already familiar.
Do you know what actor will play the mysterious Jacob? And has there been any episode in which he appeared before his meeting with Locke?
CC :
Yes, we know how Jacob will be represented. Notice the careful use of words in my answer. No, Jacob didn’t appear before his meeting with Locke.
If Michael comes back this season, will we see Walt physically or only a ghostly presence? Or has Malcolm grown too much to convincingly play a child?
DL :
Michael IS coming back. Definitively. With regards to Walt . . . we always knew Malcolm was going to grow faster than we could film. And we took that into account. Believe us. PLEASE, believe us.

- By secretagentman @ TWoP - episode 4x05 could be Desmond-centric
- Sci Fi Wire - Lost Season-Four Spoilers Leaked (Jacob, FFs, Charlie's death reverberations
Spoiler:
[...] The show's producers have already figured out what they will do with the mysterious character of Jacob, who was introduced at the end of season three. Picking his words carefully, executive producer Carlton Cuse said, "Yes, we do know how Jacob will be depicted. Notice the careful wording of my answer. And no, Jacob did not appear before he was met by Locke." Cuse also declined to say whether an actor had been chosen to portray the character. [...]
The producers said that it is inevitable that the time-bending story of Lost will continue to use looks both backward and forward. "It's absolutely inevitable, not to migrate completely away from flashbacks, but at least to find a new paradigm for storytelling that changed up the nature of the show," Cuse said. "Moving forwards, you'll get a mix. Every week will hopefully be a guessing game as to not just who will be focused on, but when we're focusing on them. Flash-forwards will be a part of season four, yes."
The reverberations of the death of Charlie Hieronymus Pace, played by Lord of the Rings's Dominic Monaghan, at the end of the last season will inevitably continue at the beginning of season four. "The reverberation of that death echoes right into the premiere of season four," Lindelof said.

MovieWeb - Interview with D. Lindelof and C. Cuse about S4
Spoiler:
DL:Season 4 is gonna be a whole new show in a lot of ways. [...] Michael is coming back. Definitely. As for Walt... we've always known Malcolm was going to grow faster than we could shoot the show. And we planned for it. Trust us. Please trust us.
CC: Flash forwards will be a part of Season 4, yes. But it would be wrong to think that the flashforward you saw is the end of the series.

Honolulu Advertisment - 'Lost' takes over Cassis, brings Chinatown snow
Spoiler:
About 100 "Lost" cast members and crew jammed the wine bar of Cassis by Chef Mavro for 12 hours Saturday (from 4 a.m.).
This much is certain: Scenes were shot for a February 2008 show and Chef George Mavrolathassitis was interviewed for a segment for a "Lost" DVD bonus package. "I'm sworn to silence on the details, of course," Mavro said.
After leaving the premises, the Losties moved to Merchant Street, where snow fell and filled the street for the cameras. Hmmmm.
Singer Azure McCall had a speaking part on "Lost," opposite new cast member Ken Leung. With her own trailer, chair and hair/makeup crew, she felt like a bona fide star. ...

- Set report by Ryan - Jack & Hurley (pics)
Spoiler:
[/SIZE="1"]Interestingly, "LOST" is back at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. It was again an interior shoot, closed set. But, trailers indicated accommodations for "Jack" and "Hurley," and sure enough, I spotted the pair leaving the building just as I was leaving for work.[/size]

Set report from Hawaii Lost Yahoo Group - Sayid, Germany *pics*
Spoiler:
I was in downtown Honolulu today (Saturday 9/22) and they were filming Lost. It was suppose to be in Germany. They had snow(shaved ice) all over the road. Some of the security said it was a Jack scene. It was not it was Sayid. There was no dialog I could hear, just naveen crossing the street several times. they only did about 7
takes and wrapped.
After naveen and jack Bender were talking in the street and the crew was throwing snowballs. It was a strange sight to see. Most of the snow/ice was almost melted except where there was a pile of it they used to cover the street.
I got to talk to Jack and Naveen and get a hug from both. They are so nice. I talked to some of the crew i know and then left. don't know the eppi as they said they are shooting so many right now it's hard to keep up with the shows. They are working 6 days a week except Sunday. I don't know if it so they can do season 4 and part
of season 5 or if it's so they cast and crew can have some time off to work on other projects.

New Lost official podcast (with DL and CC)
- Estimate going back on the air in Feb, night and time yet to be determined.
- Flashforwards, flashbacks in Season 4.
- Losties have only been there about 100 days.
- They have agreed on whether Kate ends up with Jack or Sawyer (one of Darlton is a Jater and one is a Skater, although they won't say which).
- The flashforward we saw is not the end of the show--there is a lot of story beyond that.
- Darlton not fans of the idea of multiple futures. The future is the future.
- Time, space time, time travel are still going to be themes. The rules that Ms Hawking gave Desmond are the rules. The future is fixed, not parallel.
- They will 'park' Richard Alpert until they can figure out how to get him back on the show around his commitment to Cain. They have plans for Richard's story.
- Nikki and Paulo are dead. They had bigger plans for them but didn't have enough time for them and needed to get back to the regular characters.
- We will find out if Kate is pregnant with Sawyer's baby, we will find out by mid-March. They said a few times it might be episode 4.
- Mikhail is dead. Christian Shepard is dead. When you die on LOST you are dead.

From TV Guide: Libby is back
Spoiler:
'OK, so technically, the ABC hit isn't bringing Cynthia Watros' short-lived character back from the dead. But Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms to me exclusively that the actress will be playing Hurley's dearly departed sweetheart again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more of Desmond's flashbacks.
"She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. "We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell."'

Question: Lost scoop. Please. Now. Begging. — Adele
Ausiello:
What is this, a telegram? Never mind. Episode 4 will introduce three new characters, all guest stars, not recurring, presumably for someone's flashback (or flash-forward). They are a fortysomething corporate shark who's willing to put his lofty job on the line to get an even loftier one, his female counterpart and the old-timer who will decide their fates.

Spoiler:
"It's Galzethron. And it has nothing to do with Widmore. My 'intel' says the Mark & Melissa characters are competing with one other (possibly the flashbacker of this eps.) for a promotion in Galzethron's company. I didn't post it before because that name sounds so fake."

- Ausiello's Emmys interviews: Carlton Cuse |Terry O'Quinn
Carlton said they are working on some good flashforwards this season. The one from the finale was not the only one we'd see. He also said it's fun to write for new characters. TOQ said they are done filming episodes 1 and 2 and are about to start shooting episode number three. They are all a bit rusty, relaxed but getting used to it. They are already filming at night, in mud, water... so it work as usual. He doesn't know if Locke was in the coffin. (re-cap by Misty)
- Mumbai Mirror: Bipasha Basu to join Lost?
Spoiler:
'Our sources also revealed that that the makers of the famous series, Lost, are keen to cast Bipasha in their future episodes. In fact, they had approached her earlier too but she was not keen to be part of it. When asked about it, Simone said, “Till we don't sign the contract, I cannot say anything. It is too premature.”'

- From KeepingAwake via DarkUFO: Bankdate interview with DL (August) - More about the hatch explosion
Spoiler:
Bankrate: Any clues you can give us since we won't be seeing the show back on until next February (2008)?
Damon Lindelof: I know there are "Save Charlie" T-shirts popping up around. (pause. silence) "The Hatch" imploded according to Locke but there is definitely more to this story. You will get a better picture of what happens later. And Jacob? The answer lies further downstream in the ongoing story. (longer pause). Character names on the show are not assigned without a reason. And yes, that is a clue. I will tell you that the season finale definitely set up season four. It will make you realize that the house you are standing in actually has a lot more rooms than you thought when you came into it.

- DarkUFO: More behind the scenes photos (Hurley)
- From Rebeccah via DarkUFO's blog - Jeremy Davies plays Daniel Faraday; S4 premiere's NOT Sawyer-centric
- From HawaiiThreads.com - Jack, Kate and Daniel
Spoiler:
I was up in Nu'uanu in the afternoon (after Ryan had already left). By that time, the only cast members remaining were Evangeline Lilly, Matthew Fox and a new guy wearing a vest with a flashing red light on it. I believe it's Jeremy Davies, who plays a character named "David" or "Dennis".
*
Jack, Kate and Daniel are hiking uphill through the jungle. When they reach the top of a rise, Jack and Kate sit down to rest while Daniel, who's wearing a black vest with a flashing red light (probably identical to the one Naomi has on when she parachutes down to the island) pulls out some sort of communication device (again, possibly the same as Naomi's "phone") and says something like:
"George, it's Daniel. Yeah, my instrumentation went crazy. Seemed like some kind of electrical storm. I'm here with some of the survivors."
The rest of the dialog was inaudible, but Daniel and Jack seemed to be saying a lot to each other. The take was rather long, perhaps a full two minutes.

- From pzarquon (Ryan) on The Fuselage: sightings of Josh, Jorge, Terry, Mira, M. Emerson, Emilie
Spoiler:
"LOST" was filming along a small streambed at Judd Trail, up Old Nuuanu Pali Road. A perfectly LOST-y jungle location.
All the action was out of sight, but it was good to see some familiar faces on the crew. I can only tell you that there was a major confrontation (I could hear yelling echo through the forest), and can rattle of the list of actors I spotted. But I think you'll agree, this simple list alone is enough to get one's heart aflutter. This was a major shoot!
Jorge Garcia (who was kind enough to stop and chat), Terry O'Quinn, Mira Furlan (in a nice checkerboard flannel-type shirt), Josh Holloway (who I believe was the aggressor), Michael Emerson (who appeared to have been on the losing end of a fight), and Emilie DeRavin. Of course there was at least one baby being carried around. Names overheard but not seen include Evangeline Lilly, "Carla," "Alex," "Blake," and "Fuzzy" (likely stunt pro Robert Moody).
*
RE: It really sounds like Sawyer is maintaining his darth side.
Indeed. To put my rambling first post more succinctly, I gather Sawyer was hollerin' mad, and gave Ben a good beating. True, Ben was smacked up quite a bit already, but the... make up job I saw made it look pretty fresh. Also, if Fuzzy is the stuntguy, I gather he was standing in for Michael Emerson for some of the more physical stuff.
*
There was a major confrontation of some kind, with lots of yelling and stunt fight coordination. I get the feeling "Sawyer" and "Ben" had words, and you can guess who ended up bloodied.
*
Minor update... my friend D.K. checked in later in the day and saw Matthew Fox. He was in a scene with Evangeline and another male character, described as "skinny" and and sporting a "D" name (Dennis? Daniels?).

September 11, 2007
- From RebeccahS via DarkUFO's blog: Jeff Fahey to play Frank Lapidus
- The Hollywood Exclusive - "Lost" getting scarier
Emerson says changes are afoot for Ben, too. The mythical Jacob, whom Ben consistently maintained was the real leader of "The Others," was finally seen briefly last season — "If you looked close and had TiVo," quips Emerson. "He was this big, shadowy dude. I don't know if we're going to see a personification of Jacob this season, but I think, as the source of power on the island, we have him on our hands. He's that force or power that is important now, and it looks like he or it has chosen John Locke (Terry O'Quinn). So it looks to me like Ben is no longer the anointed manager of the island. It looks like Jacob only has one helper at a time, and it might not be Ben anymore, so Ben is vulnerable now."
- DarkUFO: John Terry (aka Dr. Christian Shephard) on the Island?
Spoiler:
Just had a report in from one of my spies on the Island that they have just seen John Terry, who plays Dr. Christian Shephard, on the Island. He was spotted at Kapahulu Starbucks.

- From pzarquon (Ryan) @ HawaiiThreads.com - Filming news
Spoiler:
"LOST" returned to familiar territory today, setting up this morning at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. This building is known best as Hurley's mental institution, but also as Sayid's mosque and French restaurant.
Several friends pinged me with the news, and while it was all interior (and thus scene details are lacking), a couple of them actually got to talk with and take photos with Jorge Garcia. And at least one of 'em hung around long enough to see another actor leave the set... someone who sounds a lot like Lance Reddick, a.k.a. the original Mr. Eko, carrying something that looked like a doctor's suitcase or briefcase.

September 10, 2007
- The Nationl Ledger: ABC's "Lost" Begins Work in Hawaii: Upcoming Year Scarier Than Ever:
Emerson -- who plays Ben Linus, leader of the castaways known as "The Others" -- reminds that at the end of last season's finale, Jack Sawyer (Matt Fox) was trying to signal a boat offshore in hopes of being rescued despite Ben's dire warnings that "it could be the death of everyone on the island."
***
According to the report, Emerson predicts there will be yet another shift in power between the combatant inhabitants on the hit ABC drama when it returns midseason. Although he notes that none of the cast knows for sure what's going to happen this season, "things tend to go from bad to worse on this show, so it's fair to assume anyone else who arrives on the island couldn't be a happy event."

- Evangelina Lilly is a Beach Babe | Evangeline Lilly : Just Jared
"After a summer away, Evangeline Lilly returns to Hawaii to start filming the fourth season of ABC’s hit drama Lost (she’s been taping night sequences for the show)."

Spoiler:
My friend Emeka dropped by the pier Friday night to see what all the commotion was about: "It looks like they've started filming the second episode. They have a fairly big boat docked at the end of the pier. We had to keep a certain distance to keep from interfering with the filming. We were also not allowed to snap pictures. I did manage to get 1 of Naveen Andrews who plays Sayid, sitting in the foreground watching the filming. I wasn't there long enough to see if he was in the actual shooting. I'll upload the photo soon!"

Ask Ausiello - Aldo
Spoiler:
Question: Gasp! I love you, Michael, but I'm extremely worried about you. You wasted your energy answering two questions about One Tree Hill in last week's column, and you didn't even mention Lost once! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.— Nora
Ausiello:
Imagine how I felt. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since that column ran last Wednesday. The good news? Order has been restored to the universe and, to prove it, here's a little Lost prattle: As you know, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenney did a small role last season as an Other. Well, here's what you don't know: The scene where Julie rifle-butted him in the head was not the last we were supposed to see of him. He was slated to appear in the May finale in some kind of big Others scene, but he was unavailable due to his Philadelphia sked. If I had a gambling problem, I'd bet my firstborn that we'll see him again.

Watch with Kristin - cast changes?
Spoiler:
Ginny in Ipswich, Massachusetts: Will there be any cast changes this season on Lost?
Aside from the newbies we announced last week (much thanks to Korbi for that scoop!), Entertainment Weekly is now reporting that Grindhouse’s Jeff Fahey will join the island crew this year. I can also tell you that, although I had heard a while back that we’d be seeing a little less of Matthew Fox this season, so far there are no signs of any “Jack-off” days on the production schedule (sorry, I couldn’t resist, I’m 12). So, we’ll see.

August 25, 2007
From HawaiiThreads.com - Another filming sighting
'They were filming yesterday afternoon and evening in the forest across Kam Highway from Heeia Kea Harbor, where Ryan saw that section of the plane, currently stored under a tarp. [...] I wouldn't be surprised if they're shooting there today too, given the huge amount of equipment I saw yesterday evening.'

August 24, 2007
- From TheHade @ The Fuselage - Matthew Fox is still in Berling filming "Speed Racer"
- From Jacobe via DarkUFO's blog - First filming sightings
Spoiler:
I live in Kalihi, Hawaii. Yesterday, LOST was filming on N King Street by the Discount Store and Tamashiro Market, for those that live in Hawaii.
I was able to spot Josh Halloway (Sawyer). So I'm assuming a Sawyer flashback. OR maybe a flash-forward??
The scene involved a car being chased by two police cars, leading to the first car to jump a ramp and crash.
That's all I was able to see.
Sorry, I wasn't able to record or take pictures.

Exclusive: Kristen Bell Won't Be Getting Lost - Ausiello Report | TVGuide.com

August 8, 2007
Entertainment Weekly.com - 'Lost': Fantasy Island
Spoiler:
The producers deny that: 1) ABC is moving Lost to Friday night, at 9 p.m; 2) they have offered Peter Stormare a role in Lost's fourth season; 3) they have offered Forest Whitaker a two-episode gig in the upcoming season.

August 7, 2007
Ask Ausiello about the casting for Champignon
Spoiler:
Question: Have you spoken to Darlton about having Kristen Bell on Lost? If you pull this off, I swear (and you have this in writing, with AA witnesses) that I will send you one case of Diet Raspberry Snapple for every episode of Lost that Kristen appears on. Hope you're up for the challenge!— Erin
Ausiello: You better get busy clipping them there Snapple coupons, Erin. And while you're at it, slap on a pair of Depends, 'cause this is the kind of exclusive casting prattle that causes mass piddling: I can tell you for a fact that Kristen's name has been brought up with regard to the new role of Charlotte, the hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Yep, sounds like our Kristen! The only question now is whether my in-demand BFF is ready to jump back into another series. And, if so, will the financial toll wrought by all those Snapple purchases force Erin to declare bankruptcy? Please, God, let the answer be "Yes!" to all of the above!

August 6, 2007
Whatch with Kristin - Casting rumors
Spoiler:
Rosie in Houghton, Michigan: Have you heard anything about Peter Stormare and/or Forest Whitaker appearing on Lost this season?
Interestingly, Peter and Forest have the same manager. We heard the same rumors you did and asked if either of those guys would be appearing on Lost this season. The management company came back with "not that we know of." That doesn't mean they're not working on a deal for one or both of them to be on Lost. But if it is true, it sounds like nothing is certain.

by Sam G @ The Fuselage - More details about the casting spoilers
Spoiler:
Jack Bender is directing
401 & 402
[RUSSELL] - late 30s, a brilliant mathematician and deep thinker who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields. He sometimes struggles socially by being too direct and disconnected in his interpersonal relationships. While an empiricist by trade he is humbled and fascinated by the magic and mystery of all in this world that cannot be explained by science....RECURRING ARC WITH A POSSIBLE OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR FOR NEXT SEASON. Starts with Episode 1 - 8/19/07
[CHARLOTTE] -- late 20s. Very attractive in a naturalistic, athletic way, her looks are only one small part of charms. Precocious, loquacious, and funny, Charlotte a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world. On a personal level it is hard to crack the hard shell of poise and certainty around her, but when it DOES crack its like an egg; lots of repressed and pent up emotions spill out....RECURRING ARC WITH A POSSIBLE OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR FOR NEXT SEASON. Starts with Episode 2 - 8/29/07

August 1, 2007
Ausiello Report | TVGuide.com - Lost Introduces the Other Others!?
Spoiler:
First up is the recurring character of Russell, described as a brilliant mathematician in his late thirties who is "capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields." Well, won't that be helpful. Unfortunately, he tends to be too direct for his own good, and as a result, his personal relationships don't always add up. Russell is scheduled to turn up in Episode 1. Also recurring is Charlotte (debutting in Episode 2), a hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Interestingly, she, too, has a tough time relating to people. Beneath the surface, there's "lots of repressed and pent-up emotions."

Rumors

The Odi replies to the Turkish rumors asking his source
Spoiler:
1) The freighter people say they are looking for someone and it is planned as long story arc which will last most likely the whole season. We will get some answers to who and why in last few episodes of season. Someone WILL leave the island, but at this point it will ONLY be the freighter guys. Freighter guys leaving will not be important at "first" but will play role later.
-- I questioned our source and they followed with:
"How can I say this...they are looking for someone and we will like them but they can not be trusted because they are there for more then just someone and it will be explained more by Ben [FB] and in the Dharma Episode, the episode that will be about before Ben was on the island"
2) In the first episode that Michael returns he has hit "rock bottom" from the guilt of his actions.
3) As Dark's rumor states and as I posted in a previous blog...we will see the temple at some point in the first half of the season (8 episodes) and we will be surprised.
4) Desmond will play an important role this season and Penny will be on the show but NOT on the island. Plus we will also get to see the man she was going to marry.
-- Asking our source for further clarification we got this:
"After Desmond's release from prison, Penny tracked him down in the U.S. She asked him why he never wrote to her, and whether he ever had a chance to read Our Mutual Friend. When Desmond asked how she found him, she replied that with enough money and determination, you can track anyone. She then learned that Desmond had been told by her father that she had given up hope and had become engaged to another man. She neither confirmed nor denied this, only stating that they hadn't set a wedding date yet."
5) Sawyer has NOT filmed a FF and the FFs are being kept very secretive with a very small crew.
6) No confirmation about the chance of a cameo by Nathan Fillion (Kevin Kate's Ex-Husband) yet.
7) The footage of Jack's scenes for the Kate's Trial episode might not be aired
-- We asked for clarification and got this reply:
"I was pissed when I found this out and didn't like this idea at all"
8) The death will be a MAIN character that is a fan favorite and a male character, plus it will occur on island most likely by mid-season. It will be likely one of the four: Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid or Jin.

October 16, 2007
By Turkish blogger Dizidizi who got spoilers from an extra (corrections by ozguroyus)
Spoiler:
"Jeremy Davis and Ken Laugh are playing very interesting characters and most probably their characters will be loved by many ppl."
"There's no such thing as 'rescue from the island', so let's put an end to this matter." (I understood more like; the rescue won't be the issue for this season or won't happen in this season (because he says that a flashforward for Sawyer has been filmed too,-as previously reported- and we all know that Kate has a flashforward, so eventually there will be a rescue, if not, he contradicts with himself very badly) I mean as it's my take, eveyone can correct me.)
"You will be introduced to the temple in the first 8 episodes" and it says we will be very surprised.
"Harrold Perrineau entered the show and brought joy to the crew" - "Micheal is in a miserable situation", "You'll be surprised when you see them (Walt & Micheal)", and "Walt MIGHT NOT be a good/decent person as you might have expected and this is only a clue."
"None of the actors actually knows EXACTLY who was in the coffin" - "The guy in the coffin is not Sawyer, Ben or Michael" and in addition it's written that we CAN be SURE about this.
Desmond will have a very important storyline in the new season.
"Penny joined the island crew. She is expected to enter the (Television) series in episode 4".
The mystery of the magnetic forces that surrounded the island will be resolved in the new season... Penny's father is involved in this story.
"Everybody asks "Is Charlie really dead?", he isn't included in the film shooting, therefore it is explanatory enough I think."
"There wasn't any explanation about the Black Smoke in the scenes shot including it."
The people who will bring evil to the Island won't be the rescue team.
Sawyer has filmed a flash-forward.

By The Odi: Nathan Fillion, Richard Alpert, the hatch implosion, Desmond's next FB, Charles Widmore, John Terry
Spoiler:
1) Nathan Fillion who played Kevin Callis (Kate's Ex-Husband) is in talks with producers to return to the show for another cameo role.
2) Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) may be killed off or depending on how Ben's story unfolds he may not be coming back to the show just for this season.
3) Locke will explain the hatch implosion.
4) Desmond's next flashback is to be about his time with the British Royal Scots.
5) Charles Widmore will be part of Desmond's FB.
6) John Terry (Christian Shepard -- Jack's Dad) returns in Matthew Fox (Jack) FB/FF episode and it will finally put the whole is he dead or not topic to rest.

The Odi - New info on S4
Spoiler:
1) Dominic Monaghan & Maggie Grace are in talks to come back for more flashbacks.
2) Aaron Littleton will be seen in a flash forward.
3) The Rousseau Flashback is on hold untll later in the season or next but she will be seen in 2 other FBs that will give us fans more of a reason not to trust her.
4) We will get another episode that will detail what DHARMA has been doing on the island long before Ben and his father came to the island.
5) The person inside the coffin is not Locke but another castaway...also disregard the newspaper article in the finale...it will be rewritten....
6) The first episode with Michael will take place right after "Live Together, Die Alone".
7) A new love triangle will begin episode 4 (not involving Jack or Sawyer).
8) Two more Losties will die....a male and a female. The male will die on the island, while the female will die in a FLASHFORWARD via suicide.

Spoiler:
Baby Kwon and Aaron are friends.
There is a wooden bike.
Unsure if Jack/Kate made it to the island.

He is in a science lab with tons of different equipment
There is a younger female there. Unknown relationship to Ken.

I personally think he figured out time travel or cloning.

Season 4 Rumours by JOE
Spoiler:
1. The AICN stuff about flash-forwards and flash-backs is true. It will be roughly split in half, the flash-forwards will tell a story culminating with how we saw season 3 end. That doesn't necessarily mean just Jack and Kate get off the island, but whatever flash-forwards we see will culminate with Jack deciding they have to go back and trying to convince Kate.
2. The flash-backs will be mostly from Others: Juliet, Ben, Alpert, although Desmond is definitely slated for at least 1.
3. The temple is important, and will be explored in the last half of the season
4. Rousseau isn't telling the truth about her experience on the island
5. Karl and Alex will have a more central role.
6. Sawyer and Kate will continue to be distant.
7. Locke will not be part of the main group of castaways for the majority of the season, he will be off to the temple with Alpert and then doing his own thing.
8. You won't be able to tell right away that what arrives in the ship is bad news, but it absolutely is

You've already updated the first post with today's quotes. Thanks!

Quote:
Don't know the eppi as they said they are shooting so many right now it's hard to keep up with the shows.
But if that's what the security guy said, he might've been lying because, if I remember correctly, he also claimed they were filming a Jack scene.
Still, maybe they are filming more episodes. We know that both ep 3 and 4 were filmed from Sept 25-28. There could be some more. You never know.

You are right, still the guy could've just said that he didn't know, istead of saying they were working on many episodes. But maybe he wanted to come up with something more convincing to prevent further questions.

And those kids in tattered clothes are still hunting me.
Need. to. know.

Josh and kids point to Kate being pregnant. I'm terrified of how they might write Sawyer in that situation.
I'm pretty lonely in my Sawyer wishes lately but I'd really like to see him trying to connect to Clementine in a FB.

You mean... everything?
Leaving just the two links to the Rumors and Spoilers collective entries on Lj, the few lines of presentation of the thread and the date of the S4 premiere?

Today I've forgotten to leave a kind message on Ben_Linus' blog. Will do it tomorrow.

I'm totally with you on that. As you know I dread the pregnancy storyline (at this point of the story at least, with so much already on the table) even more than you.

But Sawyer needs to be in Las Vegas in 2007 for our foursome, that's why leaving the island is kinda necessary.

It would look so great. Just the way you like it.
We can leave some spoilers here so that it doesn't look ugly but there are too many things here right now. At least those from Ausgust could go?
Could we just post one link to the community and not collective entries?

We had agreed on leaving in the opening only the stuff from the current month (so September in this case), but if you want everything gone, no problem.

But home is where the heart is. You want to left him on the island only with his books and the ping pong lessons with Hurley?

And screw Dharma beer. We have champagne in Vegas.

Ok.
And if we put in the opening only the spoiler directly related to Sawyer? So we would also follow the FF rules, lol. And who wants to be spoilered only about Sawyer may be happy.

Well, the good thing is that probably Kate after spent away from him and with Jack, will jump him (for the right reasons) as soon as we land and make him happy again.
Me and you could always have a double date (+ Maria) with Sayid and Desmond.

Keeping Sawyer spoilers in the opening post sounds great.
FF has rules?

Well, the good thing is that probably Kate after spent away from him and with Jack, will jump him (for the right reasons) as soon as we land and make him happy again.
Me and you could always have a double date (+ Maria) with Sayid and Desmond.
It's not the same.

Yep, but it's like with my promises to be more productive. They exist but they are ineffective, lol.

I know you wanted Jack but he's still mourning Tom and I doubt he would be in the mood, you know?

You know me too well. At least they don't mourn the dead for too long on the island.

This hasn't been a good spoiler week. That last spoiler is one of the worst so far.

I'm waiting for some Hawaii sightings this week-end.

You know what drives me crazy? The thought that probably some people have seen Josh filming, even big scenes. And maybe they don't care about the show and just walked away keeping the info for themselves and not giving a second thought to the thing.

It's depressing.

I have forgotten again to ask Odi about his source(s). Boo me.

They always mention a bunch of people coming near the sets and even managing to talk to actors and yet we get only a few reports.

Maybe they're like my mom. She think the computer is a tool created by the Devil and words like "forums" and "online communities" probably freak her out, lol.

Yep, but Myspace always crashes my browser when I have more than 1 window opened, so I always postpone to do there when I'm almost ready to go off-line, but the result is that I forget every time. -_-
