Jin and Sawyer are not there. And who really gives a frak about Claire?

Seriously, what sucks is in season 5 Sawyer got a lot of airtime acting domesticated, now he does not get airtime this season probably because he's acting like a darker version of his true self.

No offense to anyone who liked his season 5 SL, but I am so bitter right now I cant even sugarcoat anything.

As soon as I heard the writers saying that the S5 would be Sawyer's season, I knew it could mean that he would not have much screentime this year. You can be prepared to see a lot of Jack/Jate/Jack&Kate&Claire/JackXLocke....

I really hope Sawyer is with Flocke. This could be great for Josh. I don't wanna Sawyer is Jack's shadow.

That's how I saw it too. Although, in my mind, more screentime for Sawyer in season 5 barely made up for him being totally neglected in season 4.

The first bit is BS, imo.

The other three seem legit.

We already know there will be some kids in episode 6. I think there was even a casting call for a Middle Eastern boy named Sam. Ryan mention a couple of kids getting on a school bus in front of Nadia's (and Sayid's) house.

I also remember posting a blog entry here in which it was said that Jack would be having scenes with a boy named David. There was one scene with Jack banging at the door and trying to get the boy to let him in. The other one was with the two of them at some piano concert or something like that.

Ryan's podcast is up - LOST Podcast: The Transmission Blog Archive Trans 2009-11-08: Season Three – Episodes 13-15

He already reported about some shootings on his blog, but these sounded new to me:

On Monday: Paradise Park Manoa Falls Trail – a couple of kids, young boy and somewhat older girl (Ryan's guess is they are Zach and Emma). Later shots included Cindy and Claire.

On Friday, at Police Beach

Sun, Ben, Frank, Ilana and Miles were there. In one scene Sun takes off her jacket and puts it in her tent just as Ilana emerges from the back of the camp storming towards Sawyer's tent. When she sits down next to it Miles who was tending to a fire gets up and heads toward another tent but gives Ilana some kind of secret signal.
In the next take, perhaps out of sequence, Ilana comes out of the woods carrying a gun and Ben is there behind her also carrying a gun.
Finally, the scene that took the longest to shoot was a pretty big one: Sun working on her tent, Frank is tending to a large fire, and then Jack, Hurley and Richard emerge on the beach. Sun sees them and runs over. She's followed by Ben, Frank, Ilana and Miles. Sun gives Hurley a hug and Jack and everyone gathers together. Ben is sort of standing off somewhat still looking a little beat.Jack and Frank shake hands.
The next scene they shot looked like a close-up of a woman with dark straight hair leaning against Sawyer's tent – it was Claire looking especially tough.

I don't because I would not like to see Sawyer separated from the rest of the cast. I honestly don't get the Jack love from Damon, he doesn't have anything which makes hm stand out, eh.

From what I understand only one of those things is true. But it's complicated!

I think the bomb did go off. Some cast members even said that's what was written in the finale script.

So, I'm going with alt scenario:
- not being alternative, but as something that has always happened and that will be important because the decision to crash on the island will have been made there (not sure if all characters will decide what to do for themselves or if someone will do it for them)
- or it could be a part of "what if" scenario which won't really matter much and would only be there to confuse us (too much time would be wasted that way)

What if the bomb goes off and they go back to their write timeline, then the AT is a 'what if' as you said that shows whatever is meant to happen will happen. So any huge or important moments that happened to them finds a way of happening off the island too. 'Cause Kate being there with Claire gives birth and the doctor being Ethan is suspicous

No matter what they do with it, I can't help but see alt reality scenario as a huge waste of time, something that isn't really necessary to tell the story but Darlton think will be cool.

If alt reality is drastically different than what we've been seeing so far, and, especially, if it has drastically different endings for various characters, it'll mean that the show betrayed its 'whatever happened, happened' rule.

If alt reality parallels what we've been seeing so far or if it ends up setting up what we saw happen in the past 5 seasons, it'll be redundant.

I can't see anything good about it (the return of the dead is not something I'm looking forward to so that's not a pro as far as I'm concerned). And nothing from the spoilers we've got tells me what happenings in the alt timeline have to do with on-island action. I still see no correlation between the two, other than some obvious parallels, but those could end up being just superficial.

I think she played a pretty but dumb (naive) kind of character on L.A. Law.
It's been a while since I've seen her on TV so I have no idea what she looks like now. Kendall still sounds like a character that could be Sawyer's target, but who knows.

I think she looks a bit advanced in age though. I thought the woman was supposed to be in her 30s. This woman is approaching 50.

I am hoping episode 8 is Sawyer's, lol.
