I disappeared because my loder sister came and "usurped" the computer.

Desmond would somehow have to be involved.

Don't worry, I had to go to dinner and didn't say a thing.

That's never a bad option.
I'll wait to see how the finale plays out.

In the second sneak peek Sayid asks the captain (who is another of the good guys) to give them the "zodiac raft" (is that the same thing of the rubber boat we see in Ryan's photos? I suck with terms) to start bringing people on board. Maybe only the first bunch of people will be rescued.
That doesn't explain who rescue them, but I said it anyway.

The first sneak peek is Locke showing to Hurley the corpses of the Dharma people gassed by Ben. I wonder what's that all about... another fight between John and Ben?

I suppose a "zodiac raft" has circular shape so maybe it's the one from the ohotos. But why
I also thought about them getting to the freighter in shifts or getting saved in shifts.

I've had enough of those.

But why ...?

Thanks for the clarification.

They could be trying to win Hurley's trust about who he should reveal what Jacob told him to.

Ben: Tell me! I'm good. Locke killed Naomi!
Locke: Ha! Hurley, don't listen to him. Look, he has killed hundreds of people.
Ben: He conned and used for his sordid needs your BFF!

No, no, I meant what you wanted to ask with that "but why"... i thought you didn't finish the question in your previous post.

If I were Hurley I would tell them Jacob had the flu and didn't want to see anyone.

I want him to give us an update on the Sawyer's rumors.

Sorry, I have no idea what I wanted to say or ask.
I think I should get some sleep. I'm making very little sense today.

That's a good idea. I still want Sawyer to remain on the island and never to go back.

I didn't ask you how went the thing with your sister.
I'm the worst friend ever.

I think the only territory untouched by the writers to show us how great he is, is a flashback in which we see that through time travel, he has been the assistant of Alexander Fleming or Marie Curie but he never got credit for his help in their discoveries.

Can't we compromise on a couple of trips to Las Vegas using the Orchid and a visit to Clementine..?

I guess I'll have to since my Clementine FB won't come true.
Maybe I've already said this, but right now I can see Sawyer being one of the few Losties with a happy ending.
He'll return back and get to be a father to Clemmie and maybe even a husband ro Cassidy. I'm not too fond of the last part but it might be some sort of compensation to his fans because he won't end up with his one true love, Kate (she's Eve from the cave).
So, if he has to leave the island, I want it to happen at the very end of the show.

But everythig is possible at this point, even the next round of the Losties returning to mainland in the finale.

The problem I have with expressing a wish for Sawyer's future is that I still haven't got what the whole deal with the island is about. It was wrong for the O6 to leave, ok, got that. But that's because their destiny is to stay there, it's because of the people they left behind, it's because they have to "fix" something for the island before they all can leave the place... ?
and I'm still unsure about Sawyer's motivations to stay too.
For instance, I have to things that make me doubt about the promise being clementine related: one, is the fact, as i mentioned in the episode thread, that it seems a bit too predictable to me; second and most important - if he wants to have someone check on Clementine, if he now has something he cares about to go back to on mainland, why did he "choose" to stay? Unless of course there are lives at stake or something like that and his choice was out of self-sacrifice, or maybe he thought he could do more for his friends on the island than for a kid who is being probably raised by another man...

I'm confused.

I have to agree with that, now.
The only good thing is that I'm getting good vibes about Sawyer by the way the writers are portraying him. He hasn't gotten a lot of material this year but he seems to be... on the "right path" with himself, you know what I mean?

Predictability is nothing new on Lost these days so I'm certain the promise is related to Clementine.

As for things not making a lot of sense, I agree, but when that happens, you should always remember "Eggtown". Logic just doesn't apply if they want something to happen.

What I find interesting - Sawyer asks Kate to get in contact with his daughter even though, logically Kate should end up in jail soon after her return and stay there for a long, long time. How would she be able to keep the promise?

Yes, I understand and I can only hope it will last.

This is Ryan's post from the Fuselage:

This is what I'm saying. I didn't see Emilie DeRavin nor Daniel Dae Kim. I suppose there's a chance they were there, but all the principals and their stand-ins generally moved about together and when they were in the water, it was Hurley (and Aaron), Sun, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Sayid and Frank.
Could the non moving somebody Sawyer is holding be........................Jack?
He's just had that operation and might not be feeling well. Although in that case, maybe Kate would be the one helping him.

Good point, I hadn't stopped to consider that. If Sawyer knew that Kate has met Cassidy and she is aware of Kate's crimes, then it could make a bit of sense because she may find a way to go back on the run and contact her in New Mexico. Maybe they will talk about that?
Maybe Sawyer thinks Kate could go back to escape the law because they aren't being rescued the "normal way" anymore? The freighter crew seems to be splitted in good and bad guys and only Keamy's group seems to be following all of Widmore's orders.

...I have no idea. I don't even know how much time together Sawyer and Kate will have after they reunite.

But Sawyer is sure stronger. It could be, you know, nice speculation.

I get all emotional when I think about Sawyer staying behind while the O6 leave... I can't help it.
Oh Sawyer, stop making me look like a sap.

Jawer! Jawyer!
Maybe theirs will be the spectacular kiss.

Although Frank would maybe make more sense since we didn't see him in FFs.

Okay. Give me back Conmama.
Or Sawyer/Christian, if we really have to go with a Shepard.

A newbie staying on the island? I'm game! Maybe the love birds and Miles stay too. Yayness.

I think I'll go teary eyes in the finale, as much as I don't want to.
