Oh god, no. I didn't think about the writing team because I was expecting no Sawyer in the episode, but now...
At least 4x09 is in the hands of two decent people.

No, you're probably right. I guess Sayid might do something wrong in the FF and Ben will take advantage of that.

This episode is a pure mystery. I don't mind it's Ben so we're done with it, the problem is the finale and ep. 11 seem to be Ben-filled too.

I was wondering, does he look dirty when he's showing his secret passage to Locke too?

He looks dirty both when he and Locke are getting the guns, and when he says "you wanna leave? I'm your best chance" to him (same scene).

I wanted to ask this since forever: what is the sound you hear when Ben is looking through the window (when you see Hurley and Locke behind him)? Is it a sound added by the editing?

He looks kind of dirty in face but his shirt seems clean to me. It's probably too blurry to see the spots.
He also doesn't seem dirty in face when he's saying "Everything's going to be okay."

I guess them playing Risk will be the initial scene and the peace and quiet will soon be interrupted by the freighters blowing houses up and Keamy threatening to kill Alex.

What if Smokey takes care of Keamy and that's how Alex is freed, and then Ben and Locke leave using the secret passage? When he says "Everything is going to be ok", he's reassuring Alex, and then the monster arrives.

But where is Aaron? And Sawyer? Argh.

No idea wbout Sawyer, Aaron or Claire.

I know sneak peeks are usually initial scenes of the show.

Maybe it reacts to certain impulses, helping or punishing people according to their feelings. I never paid to his apparitions enough attention to analyze its modus operandi.

Unlike sneak peeks, promos can show scenes around the end of an episode... I remember the promo for Confirmed Dead with Miles yelling "do you want to know why we are here?", that was in the final part of 4x02, if I'm not mistaken. And the TOW promo had Sawyer's shocked face in it, and that was the last shot of the whole episode.

I'm thinking about Hurley meeting Smokey, does it happen in episode 9?

I still can't figure out how this (new) group divisions take place. And not only with Team Locke. We have in the promo Jack super angry and what seems to be Daniel, then in episode 11 he, Charlotte, Sun and Jin are trekking across the jungle.

She did say something about Josh in the introductory part, but I can't understand what exactly.
