I guess ep 10 will be similar to last season's finale FF, we'll get to see more of him being a mess. The answers and explanations will probably come only in this season's finale.
He mentions the beginning of the character redemption, do you think he's talking about the moment when he decides to grow out of denial and lying and that he must go back, or even later, post-airport scene?

Do you still picture Locke off the island? Even with the possibility Sawyer is on mainland (in your scenario)?

I have a feeling it could be after the airport scene. The in between parts could be covered in episode 10.

Darlton said the triangle would be in the focus in the three final hours. I'm not sure what exactly they meant. Would they go as far as having each hour revolve around one of these characters? It would seem a bit too much.

Locke and Hurley both seem to be with Ben after the attack on Othersville.
Why is he the only one not to get off the island and where do they split?

His mom told him she had the time of her life while she was at home alone?

I would've said that the turning point for Jack would be finding out that Claire is his sister, but not knowing when that revelation occurs, I could be totally wrong.

Yeah, it fits with Jack being a mess on the island, too.
Aren't you excited to see the return of hero Jack? His loser phase lasted for something like... 2 hours of screentime.

I have no idea, I thought we were in for an emotional Skate separation and some Jate in the FF, because otherwise how would they show Skate to us (unless we got for the Sawyer-on-mainland theory), with Kate sharing something with Jack but missing Sawyer? @_@

The answer to the first question could easily be, because Ben will screw him up because he needs Locike on the island, no idea about the second point.

Maybe I would even care for this Jack and Claire blood tie had they actually shared some scenes. As far as I can tell, Sawyer has spent more time with her.

I predicted 1 hour. They proved me wrong.

Nothing makes sense anymore.

Why the heck would he take Hurley with him?

I want more sneak peeks.

(I wouldn't care anyway)
Hey, didn't you see that poignant scene in the premiere, when Claire asked Jack if he was worried/why he was worried/if something was wrong, and he told her everything was ok? That's totally a case of big bro looking out for his lil sis.
Misty, pay attention pleaze.

You're always so pessimistic for no reason.

Because Hurley has proved some kind of power because of his encounter with Smokey? Because he wants Aaron, and a+ìonce he has grabbed the baby from Claire he needs someone to keep Turniphead unless he has brainwashed Kate into taking him?
Maybe Locke follow another path/hint while they're in the jungle, Jacob calls him?
No idea, as always.

The one we've got is so short. I want at least 30 more seconds, lol.

My bad. That was such an emotional scene.

I considered trying to apply for that only because they have mentioned clips and sneak peeks for the partecipants.
Nice to know there is someone taking care of that.

Maybe she'll post them on Monday, the first day of her Lost-fest week..?

I seriously doubt she'll have anything new. She's waited too long to show her interviews. I hope she might have a few tiny spoilers for the spoiler chat, though.

I had two pages opened, and I was almost posting the reply to your post in the S/K thread. *facepalm* Of course, instead of copy-and-pasting, I had to close the other window. My brilliance shocks even myself.

Better than nothing. And a Josh interview, even spoiler-free, is always good, so let's hope she has gotten to meet him on set. (Or Carlton in a red bathsuit)

Something from the spoiler would be r4eally good too, since we habe had to say goodbye to the episode synopsises, anything is helpful.

My plan, as usual, is to bug Krikri and Mickey with Sawyer questions I know they won't pick up.

And I'll do the same.

Dark has a few more promo photos for ep 9 - Spoilers: Episode 4.09 - The Shape of Things to Come - More Promotional Photos

ETA: In that short interview that Sarah translated Josh said he'll read the finale scripts when he returns home. That kind of makes all my interpretations of his 'Sawyer on or off the island' answer - pointless.

Unless he's lying...

Spoilers: Michael Emerson on Episode 4.09
Quote:
Thanks to The ODI for finding this small snippet from Michael Emerson about Episode 4.09 - The Shape of Things to Come.

When the show resumes this week, Emerson promises that things get kicking.

"It's going to knock you out when you see that next episode," he says. "It's so full of developments and movement, I can't tell you."

Even his future in professional killing comes into play, he says, with the fates of the "Oceanic Six" - those characters who make it off the island - getting plenty of attention in the season's final episodes.

For Emerson, Ben's future fits his character. "Ben is a man who must sometimes be angry because he's never going to have the quiet happiness of family and home," he says.

O6 + Ben in the finale.
What more could I wish for? I know! The triangle.

Does he mean more than they've already gotten? It's been nothing but the O6 this season.

I love it when you get those pics in HQ. Thanks.

Exactly.

We didn't find out almost anything new this season other than who the O6 are. We know their identities, we know they are celebrities, we know they are hiding some horrible lie which will come back to haunt them and that's it.

The most important questions are still unanswered.
What the hell are they lying about?!?!

It looks like we'll have to wait for season 4 finale to find out the answers to the questions that arose with the season 3 finale. It feels like the O6 plotline was introduced to fill in the gap between these two points.

In the meantime, all other characters have been totally ignored.

you're welcome! I've been waiting and waiting for that particular picture. And when do they sneak it in? Over the weekend. *scratches head*

You pretty much summed the whole season up right there. They've answered almost nothing important from the past. And they kept saying we've only got x number of eps left so there's going to be a lot of explaining. Yeah right. And you're right, the only new answers were to new questions.
