Interview with Harold but I see nothing very spoilery about it.

Some people think Claire will die in the next episode.

If Claire dies, then Jin is alive. But I don't think it's the case. The cliffhanger of ep. 8 is probably about some weird stuff involving Michael, how he ended up on the freighter, and events happened in his flashbacks.

Hopefully this will end some of the debate that's been going around.

Note: I know back in December when we had the Oceanic 6 revealed and we had Jin instead of Aaron. This was due to the fact that my source who watch an early cut of Ji Yeon, like a lot of us, assumed the Jin part of the story was a Flash-forward and not a FB (The end scene was not on their cut of the episode). I hope this clears things up.

So now, either Kate has adopted him, or there is some weird time travelling/abnormal growth going on to justify he's her biological son.

If some FB scenes happen on the freighter then maybe he realized they are about to attck Othersville and warned Ben about it.

I really think they most probably won't even try to explain it. There's no way to solve that issue in a stisfactory way IMO. Their main concern was to shock the audience with the Aaron revelation and they probably neglected every other problem arising from that decision.

Because if everything is ok with Aaron, how will Jack concince Kate to go back? Assuming she goes back.

Of course, all my guesses are made assuming they still give a damn about what they said in episode 1x10.

I've always had and always will have (until I'm proved wrong, of course, lol) this feeling that Claire will be there until the very end, even if she has nothing to do in the plot. I can't explain it, it's like... I don't think they have it in themselves to shoot Bambi.

I asked because if they want to cover the time from the S2 finale to the moment he ended up on the freighter, a flash in the "past past" could be too confusing. Or not, maybe it explains how he's able to board the freighter.

Who knows if the producers even remember they wrote that? I didn't remember until someone else brought it up. I don't know if I would count on that being written in stone. Look at all the other stuff they've forgotten/changed/re-wrote over the years. It could open up a whole new can of worms if they decide to ignore that little bit of Lost history.

And you know how they love to pull ******* like that.

But if the writers ignore that, and so it's not that Kate has to return Aaron to Claire (and the island), what could motive her to go back? We've seen that she is adamant in rejecting Jack's plea in the S3 finale, and her top priority now is Aaron. iIf she leaves California and violate her probation, it must be for one hell of a reason and the only one I can think of is the kid. *scratches head*

I can't answer any of those questions. I gave up trying to second guess these dudes a long time ago. I just brought it up as a possibility. They always like to mess with the audience. There are so many things that can happen between now and the end... I just wouldn't put it past them to pull something like that. *big sigh*

You're right about that.

It's just that Eggtown was such a huge letdown, and the only point of the episode was showing us Aaron with Kate, that I've been trying to come up with any cool scenario to redeem that pile of crap, lol.

But I also thought Dharma would manipulate Kate's trial and she had to work for them because of that....
