How do you submit a question for the podcast(s)?

Hey, how about all those awesome references to the Red Sox? That's culture, baby.

You're an hybrid between Google, MacGyver and Rupert Giles. *_* Thanks!

Can't wait for the Arzt's memorable moments.

Jin in the backcover. ;__;

P.S. I think your browser is acting a bit weird when you use the Insert Link tag, because it probaly doesn't delete automatically the "http://" part, so often in the links there is that URL part twice and the link doesn't work. Just saying so in case you can't open a link, simply erase the duplicate bit.

Somewhere on ABC's site, I think.

All these made me LMAO. You're too funny.

And I was wondering why the hell I couldn't access the pages the links to which had been posted by me.
I never even bothered looking at them, otherwise I might've been able to notice that "http" part appears two times. The technician put a different version of IE and I don't really know what the differences are between this one and the one I used before.

Thanks for pointing it out to me.

Tyhanks! I'll go digging in the site. So every week, either me or you (which are of course part of all my evil plans) can leave a question about the KITC and/or the remaining Others.

I'm a woman with a mission. And a disturbed psyche.
Fear me!

I wanted to tell you the other day, but I thought you coudl think I was being arrogant or bitchy.

I had the same problems when I first installed Firefox, then it automatically disappeared when I downloaded an upgrated version. Weird that you're experiencing it when you passed to a newer version of IE.

Hey everyone!
So with Alexa who has watched TC, I'm the only Lost fan left who hasn't seen it yet.
I should stop being so Sawyer-focussed.

They know about the Purge, and think maybe he could do something similar if he manages to escape Locke's control and thinks such an extreme action is necessary if the freighter people arrive on the island? (not just the 4, but also the rest of the boat crew)

I have no idea. Why does Juliet want to stop Daneil and Charlotte if they're at the electrical hatch for that reason?

Rumours

Words For My Enjoyment Blog Archive Spoiling Lost

Quote:
Spoiling Lost
March 2nd, 2008

Due to my connections in the entertainment industry, I sometimes hear things I shouldn’t.

In the past I’ve received spoilers for upcoming episodes on everything from Heroes to The Sopranos. I take such spoilers with a grain of salt, but am always here to post them for entertainment purposes and as a service to those who are interested. So it’s no surprise that the rumors of my willingness to share such inside details found their way to those working to finish off the fourth season of ABC’s Lost.

Such information, which you will not want to read unless you want to ruin it for yourself, are contained within.

If you’re a fan (or hater) of Lost, there’s one thing you can agree with: the show is a twisting turning mystery that poses more questions than it answers. With the most recent episodes (and especially with last week’s “The Constant”), more questions and revelations have found their way to television.

That’s why I was both relieved and intrigued by this set of spoilers which really seem to clear a lot of things up for me as an avid fan of the show. Some of the spoilers seem a little far fetched — but with the Lost writers, you never know. As always, these spoilers should not be used in Vegas to make money, nor should they be forwarded around or reprinted without providing a link back to WFME.
  • The Oceanic six are Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Jack, Jin & Sun
  • The “flash forwards” are in actuality, not flash forwards for the characters. When the Oceanic six left the island, they entered the same weird time travel mind-***** that Desmond experienced. Thus, each of the Oceanic six are existing in the past (this is why Jack’s father is still alive, he hasn’t died yet in the past) — and keep flashing back to the future events on the island. So, as it’s been explained to me, everything happening on that island is the future for the Oceanic six…and in order to get back onto the island they will literally need to get back on the plane when the moment arrives for them in the present.
  • Desmond will die in the “present” on the Island - but will continue to exist in the past (which now appears to be Desmond’s present). While audiences will think he’s gone, it will come to pass that he still exists — and will come back into the story during the end of the second to last season finale.
  • The infamous numbers that really played a part in seasons 1 and 2 (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) will come to have more meaning than we’ve ever thought. I’m told that this theme of the “thinning out” of the island (i.e., how the survivors continue to die and get whittled down) is exactly the key to figuring out the mathematical allegory of the show. By now, some people might have realized that if you subtract each of the numbers from each other (starting with the largest and continuing all the way to the smallest) you get a negative 24 (-24). Add those two numbers together and you get a negative 6 (-6). Which allegorically, refers to the subtraction of six characters (in the end) from the entire group of survivors. I.e, the Oceanic 6 who get removed from the island. Basically, these numbers from the beginning have always pointed to six individuals being separated out (or subtracted) from the whole group. These six are the key to the solution and final dramatic series finale.
  • Hurley will lose 20 lbs in the fifth season of Lost.
  • Fisher Stevens, who appeared in the most recent episode entitled “The Constant” has died in the future (but not in the past where he has mentioned to have been riding on a ferris wheel). Fisher Stevens will end up running into and contacting some of the Oceanic 6 in their “past” (which we have all been referring to as flash forwards even though it’s not in the future, but in the past) and together he will help them figure out how to get back on the plane to return to the island to help save the rest of the survivors.
  • It’s no surprise that new character Daniel Faraday was named after real-world physicist Michael Faraday — an English chemist and physicist who contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. Faraday, the real world one, studied the magnetic field and eventually was responsible for creating the “Faraday cage” which is an enclosure or shield that blocks out static electrical fields. This, I’m told, was put into place because it is Faraday who is responsible for the “cage” around the island. After Desmond, in the past, helps him solve the puzzle — it is Faraday’s research in the show’s narrative itself that causes the anomaly around the island, that sets everything in motion. Daniel Faraday IS the man responsible for everything that has occurred on the show.
  • Walt, who disappeared with his father, will return later this season. But now, Walt has developed his powers to the point of being able to use his mind to send what appears to be “his image” anywhere in the world. When Locke saw him this season after being shot by Ben — in fact, that was an image Walt projected of himself to the island. In reality, we will find out next season that each time Walt shows up in season four - it is him projecting his image from a location back on the mainland.
  • The infamous polar bear from season 1? The polar bear skulls revealed in this season’s episode that took place in the past? The polar bear that WAS on the island escaped — then was transported to the past (much like Desmond and the Oceanic 6). Then, the polar bear died in the past after getting into a brawl with desert coyotes….then died and was buried under the sand only to be found by Charlotte Lewis (the anthropologist). Supposedly in the writer’s room over at Lost there’s a phrase all the writer’s keep joking about — “poor bear!” This is basically due to the fact that they killed him off by using the one device that we’ll all be privy to very very soon. The island as a transporter to the past.
  • Kate’s baby? Born in the “past” (cause that’s where she’s at now) — and strangely afflicted with some kind of weird disease that appears to be Down’s Syndrome. But, in fact — it was her being pregnant and passing through the electromagnetic shield of the island that caused this.
  • While ABC will not reveal this until the final season of Lost — there will be a spin-off that will be kicked off in the finale season of the show. The spin-off will be all about Walt and his powers of transference and teleportation, and tentatively has the title “Walt o’ the World.”
As I said — take these with a grain. And do not re-post without giving credit where credit is due.
The funny thing is that his spoilers or rumours regarding time issues seem very possible to me.

The only "weird" bits are those about Hurley losing some weigth and Kate's baby having a disease.

Sorry but, I literally burst out laughing at the end.

This stuff is all super confusing. Where are things, like the fake plane placed at the bottom of the sea and the world knowing about the disaster in CD, placed in this scenario?

This guy is a writer. Maybe he jokes on his blog. I haven't checked the previous entries.

Yes the Walt thing is great, too.

We haven't repoted this important bit of info yet - Rumours: Harper Stanhope

Thanks to Anthony for letting us know that Andrea Roth's IMDB profile page shows her as playing Harper Stanhope. IMDB as we know can be edited by a lot of people although they have got a LOT better recently in becoming a reliable source of info. We know that her name is Harper but this is the first time we've been given her surname as far as I'm aware.

It was cool to read, though.
Thanks!

BTW, speaking on serious tones, I truly think something bad may happen to Aaron, and be the reason of Kate changing her mind about going back.
Also, *if* she knows that Claire is there alive, the fact she doesn't want to before having a need for returning, makes things creepier.

You kept the good stuff for last, huh?

I've only sent 1 question to Kristin the other day, any suggestion?

I bet they didn't even think about all the consequences this twist will have on other characters, primarily on Claire. They probably thought it would be cool, unexpected and OMG so they just went with it.

I don't get who or what they want to root for. Maybe they wanted us to feel both for Claire's unknown fate, and Kate's new role, ok. But the creepy music playing when Kate said "Hi Aaron" was there to make us think there is something wrong with her having Aaron (the "raised by another" prophecy) or just to enphasize the dramatic twist? How will they deal with Aaron not recognizing Claire when they go back? Although, she could be dead by that time.

I have no idea how they plan on dealing with this storyline.

Just a general, will Sawyer get a storyline, kind of question.

Check out the ending of the Lost "Via Domus" game - YouTube - Lost: Via Domus- Ending

Apparently Darlton made some suggestions about it.
I have no idea what it is all about but it seems to me like we'll have some major time travelling to deal with in the upcoming seasons.

I wanted to ask her about that tidbit in US Weekly (Sawyer irked by the deal Ben offers to Locke) but she may just give a little reply about ep. 6, while I want to know if it has long term consequences, or anyway if it opens the door to a storyline in the future episodes. It's not the first time Sawyer isn't enthusiastic about how John deals bit the Bug-eyes bastard, but it never led anywhere before.
