It's true, lol. She's been on television for the past 11 years or so. Before Roswell, she did this Australian TV show called Beast Master that aired on cable. She was like 16/17 at the time.

It was definitely sci-fi/fantasy, lol. She played some demon named Curupira that looked like this.

I think she dyed her hair because she's stuck with a wig in Lost anyway - due to the lenght of the hair. They could've used extensions but maybe they take too much time to be applied..? I don't know.
