R e v i e w s:

"Sawyer and Juliet 2gether 4ever.
When Sawyer joins Juliet, she is quietly (almost catatonically) considering going to Tahiti, 1974 or not.
But Sawyer complains she's abandoning him to nutsos and silent Jin, and with sheer charm, he Sawyers her into staying.
With their eyebrows, they have virtual sex. "Okay, two weeks," she says. Ha: THREE YEARS LATER. Sawyer's still smiling!
He's picking flowers! He's drinking Dharma Merlot! It's all so damned groovy.
"Thank you for believing in me," Juliet says. And kissing! And "I love you!"
It's like a magical panorama set in the Sunshine Family Van.
"
(Vulture - New York Magazine)

"Sawyer was, for perhaps the first time since we met him, happy. He's a respected member of the community, he has a job that he excels at,
he gets to read books and drink wine, he's back in the cozy confines of New Otherton and, most of all, he's in love with a woman
who reciprocates his feelings.[..] I want Sawyer to stay with Juliet. I really want the dude to be happy.
"
(Buddy TV)

"We learn quite a bit about two of our characters. Juliet and Sawyer walk away from this changed. Connected now in the larger scope of the show.
Whatever happens, this episode permanently pairs them in some sense. And it didn't feel forced, either. I like what it was built upon,
the choices that lead to them connecting.
"
(HitFix)

"Now it seems Juliet -- the one who was willing to stay on the island with him, which is worth noting -- may be his true love."
(Celebritology)

Now I have to bring some stuff over from the last thread... I just need to quote on some of the things

I think that is exactly why I think she will be back... They love Juliet's character and they love Elizabeths work... I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I can't give up hope ... I love having her on the show to much...

What happened in Prison Break and Bones?
I do know in PB that had Sara decapitated and then they backtracked, so now I'm scared to know what else they came up with.
... I thought that after watching Lost I was done crying... but well... no... so in the end Sara and Michael were safe... she was even pregnant and happy... everything was so great. I was so happy and for me it was the perfect ending, but then Michael had nosebleeds and he's had them before because there was something wrong with his brain. Back when he had it the last time the company fixed it and he was fine... They didn't really go much into it because last episode and all so they jumped 4 years ahead... and there was little Michael Jr. and Sara... they got a little tattoo for Michael Jr. and Sara said "Let's go see daddy" or something like that... and then they went to see his grave ... .. I hate TV shows...
argh... and don't let me get into Bones... there I was thinking Bones would cheer me up after Lost, but well... that didn't quite work...
the last weeks they told us Booth and Bones would finally land in bed together... well they did, but it seems while in coma Booth dreamed and they do that after they told us it wouldn't be a dream ... I was so mad... and dissappointed I guess... and then after he woke from being in a coma he looses his memory... great

Nooo!

Oh... you've got me ... that's nice to know ... I didn't jump... I forgot my towel ...

I don't have to accept anything because she is not dead

Hi!!!
I love that she used Sawyers line!!! That was so great!!

Another very different one is All this time I've loved you and never known your face, which has Sawyer encountering Juliet as if the bomb going off sent them back too 2004, and they "meet" off island. I really like both, for very different reasons.
Thanks for the suggestions
I will go off to read it now and then tell you when you're back how i liked them Thanks!!!!
Right now I'm pretty much ignoring "The Incident"... for me it hasn't happened!! I jumped back in time... before "The Incident" happened

Please post the youtube video... I might not watch it right away, but I definitely want to see it at some point

Of course Juliet is still alive . She just can't be dead!

I think Locke is the major death that they were talking about before the season finale and he is now a different character.... whatever that means...

I believe that *if* Juliet is still alive, it's because they left that option open waiting to see the fans' reactions to Season 5 and her last scenes in the finale. I do think the writers are influenced by that kind of things sometimes, so even if they aren't too hot on Juliet's backstory (considering the way they've sort of put it aside after the fantastic set-up of S3) they could bring her back, perhaps to give her an happy ending?

We also have to wait and see what's the deal with "V" and how much busy Elizabeth will be with it. 6 episodes or 13? Midseason show or part of the fall schedule?

BTW, yesterday I was thinking that if Juliet is gone I have another reason to be pissed about it: the fact that they're asking me to care for a complete "stranger" like Ilana, so close to the end of the series. She probably plays a key role when it comes to the mythology, but that doesn't mean I feel like investing in her on the personal level. Ig Juliet is gone and they're asking me to care about a complete new female character, I will have the opposite reaction. </rant>

Jeez, what's up with this latest trend tv shows seem to follow, the dream/hallucination plotline. They did something very similar on House.
I can only imagine the "joy" of the B/B shippers...
But sadly, that kind of madness is expected when you have only one main couple in a show, they try to keep them separated and tease the audience for as much as it's worth.
I'm really sorry about Prison Break, I found out what they had done in it a few hours ago when I stumbled upon an icon with a picture of Michael's grave.
It must hurt the double to be lulled into the fake safety of a happy ending, and then have a coda to the episode that completely destroys that.
What kind of illness did Michael have? Was it a tumor..?

Entertainment Weekly has an article about the Lost finale and look who they put as center picture:

Jeff Jensen called the romance between Sawyer and Juliet "the most winning story line" of the fifth season.

Oh yeah, I totally agree I thought they said they were wanting to have the final season with as little non-Losties as possible? It makes me think that was part of the reason why they killed Juliet (and Dan, and Charlotte..), but then why have all these other randoms in now? Fair enough if Ilana et al are just going to be in a handful of episodes, but if they're just going to replace Juliet with some other random female I will also be pissed.

Gah, I adore that picture of Josh and Liz So happy that they used that one for the main picture, as well as his comments! The little caption at the corner of their picture also says that Juliet and Sawyer's relationship provided the season's most memorable moments I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing great comments about the S/J relationship

Ok you guys, here's the aforementioned video. It's heartbreaking, but I love that it goes over all of their moments together from their relationship

TPTB statements are confusing. At the beginning of the year, they said that they had choosen to focus on the characters that the audience have been loving and following since the beginning: Jack, Kate, Locke, Sayid, Hurley and Sawyer. Where does this leave Jin and Sun, who are original Losties, too? Poor things
And in one of her latest interviews, they said that Juliet and Miles were the only not-original characters left still around. Huh? What about Desmond, or Ben? Or Frank? And now there is this Ilana, too.

I know. It's a bit of an irrational thing because it's not like I love them more or less because now they've become sort of popular, but I'm sort of happy for my ship when it gets positive feedback... I don't know how to explain it.

I'm bookmarking it... I'm very tempted to watch, but I'm afraid of my reactions to the finale scenes.

Ha at least I got you to say if...
seriously all the interviews tell us they love Juliet's character and her relationship with Sawyer.. I really don't think they just put them together because it gave a twist to the triangle of Kate/Jack/Sawyer... I really don't see Kate and Sawyer happening... they made that clear in the finale...and I really think that there is more to it and there's more to Juliet... she's not dead

I honestly don't know what they will do with the triangle. I fear a big return of it in S6 if Juliet is dead, and I have zero interest in seeing any of that, in all honestly.
Realistically, they can go with Skate only if a time jump happens, imo, because although they retconned Kate's actions in episode 11 (she's holding onto Aaron so much because Sawyer broke her heart, apparently) and showed that Sawyer isn't over Kate in the finale (because of the look), Sawyer just saw the woman he loved and spent 3 years with die, letting go of his hand to be sure he wouldn't get harmed to help her, and her last words were an I Love You.
If they keep the slow pacing of the "normal" show, and have Sawyer and Kate flirt after two weeks or anything like that, it will look ridiculous.
But, as I've said, with a time jump they can do whatever they want. They left the door open to both Jate and Skate.

Yep. If I won't have Juliet anymore, I'll watch "V" even if it's the worst series ever. I need my Elizabeth fix, and she never disappoint even when given not so stellar material.

I agree with you... but I think I couldn't even handle Skate after a time jump because it would just seem so wrong and Kate clearly loves Jack, so it would be a dump move to get Sawyer and Kate back together....
Skate would be so wrong after how he changed during what we saw in season 5!!
I really don't want them to bring up the triangle again... it just doesn't fit this show anymore... but if she is really dead I fear the worst and I really don't want to see it

I think with Elizabeth in it the series won't be that bad ... it's more science fiction, right?... I really hope it's good because that would mean that it would stay on longer...

With the final scenes so raw and fresh in one's mind, suddenly a song you've heard for years can hit you without warning. Sting's "Fields of Gold" hit me that way yesterday. It's not too good to be weeping while barreling down the highway. If I could make videos, I would:

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
That we walked in fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley

In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold

Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold

I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We'll walk in the fields of gold

This ^^^ is absolutely ridiculous.

The man is GONE!

That's actually the most devastating part of the whole parting for me - I've never seen Sawyer so wilted and lifeless. He's DESTROYED inside!

From the strong willed guy we saw earlier attempting to beat the daylights out of Jack to the absolute BROKEN man we see here on the floor, with no will to live! He can't even PICK HIMSELF UP!

Really visceral stuff! Holloway's just been totally rocking this season! Hats off to him!

Skate would be so wrong after how he changed during what we saw in season 5!!
I really don't want them to bring up the triangle again... it just doesn't fit this show anymore... but if she is really dead I fear the worst and I really don't want to see it
It may be selfish to want for Sawyer to stay alone until the end, but after what we saw in the finale, even knowing that he still has Kate in his heart, I can't help but feel this way. But this is Lost, and if the writers went to such lenghts to keep all the angles of the original triangle still be very much in the game, I think we should at least consider that possibility (addressing the S/K again).
That's why I'm hoping for a time jump if they truly have to go there.

I think with Elizabeth in it the series won't be that bad... it's more science fiction, right?... I really hope it's good because that would mean that it would stay on longer...
It's a remake of a short lived series of the 80s, about an alien invasion. I have a very vague recollection of the few episodes I stumbled upon as a kid, only that the "visitors" had a human skin, but underneath they were sort of giant lizards, lol. Liz plays an human character, not an alien, though.

It was great, I'm really beginning to love this area even if it is really small and remote her, but it is really beautiful. I'm starting to feel better here after seeing these great areas in the middle of nowhere.. makes me miss home a lot less... you'll get some pictures if you're nice to me
It looks like I've been nice! The pictures were stunning , I'm really glad your second day of eploration was another success.

Weezil - you've just killed me with that.
You made me go listen to the song on youtube while I watched your lyric+caps combo, and now I feel like the impact of the finale and the bittersweet dimention of Sawyer/Juliet is hitting me again.

He does look broken, although nothing hurt me most than his strangled cry after Juliet fell down. I don't know if he would've left his place looking down the hole if Kate and jack hadn't dragged him away.

I still haven't rewatched the finale, I still don't trust myself to keep my emotions in check if I do that.

I think it would be absolutely ridiculous if they played the Skate card again. That ship has sailed, and it's clear that most people don't want them anymore. MOVE. ON.

I used to love Skate, but now if happened again, it would just make me nauseous, especially for the fact that poor Juliet was just a stand in for Kate because James couldn't have her. How unfair is that? That Juliet always gets Kate's leftovers, and then when she wants them back, she gets them? *sigh* I think that's why the ending Suliet scene just tore me in half, because I knew that Juliet never got a fair deal in life, and it just hurts.
