That would be the downside to Sawyer back on the beach. The triangle from hell is all together again. Yippee.

I'm hoping Juliet will take Sawyer's place in the the triangle until the end of the season. I'm sorry for her because she rocks and deserves better, but James has been been suffering romanticrap storylines for 3 seasons and a half, Juliet will be able to stay strong until Jack and Kate leave.

Ally, the Precious couldn't wink at you because he is already engaged with me... if It's cheating on me with you, you have a problem, I'm a very possessive type.

You're not alone! I can't wait.
I like Miles, and he can keep the snark - just let go of the nicknaming habit because that's James' exclusive.

Thanks for the promo pic.

It may mean they are really going to let James evolve now that there is another jerk to screw with everybody.

I am at the point I wouldn't mind seeing James reading on the beach , because at least he would be in the episode.

Del Boy Trotter named TV's favourite rogue - Telegraph

Quote:
Del Boy Trotter, wheeler dealer extraordinaire and purveyor of dodgy goods in Only Fools And Horses, has been voted TV's most loveable rogue.

Played by Sir David Jason, Del Boy had more than two decades of scrapes and scams in the BBC1 series before it bowed out in 2003.

The much-missed character topped a poll voted by readers of the Radio Times.

"Del Boy's doomed get-rich-quick schemes, geezer gait and wheezing three-wheeler saw the south London scoundrel top our poll of TV's loveable rogues. A man so dodgy he could bottle tap water and pass it off as finest Peckham Spring," the magazine said.

Ronnie Barker's "cunning yet soft-centred" Fletcher from prison comedy Porridge was second on the list, with the Radio Times noting that "we cheered our favourite 'habitual criminal' through each scam".

A more up-to-date rogue, Sawyer from Channel 4 drama Lost, played by Josh Holloway, was at number three.

EastEnders' Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) was fourth.

The magazine lamented: "The Queen Vic has lacked a certain rakish air since his 2005 farewell."

Fifth spot went to Minder's Arthur Daley, as played by George Cole, who could give Del Boy a run for his money in the wheeler dealer stakes.

The other characters completing the top 10 were Lovejoy, Frank Gallagher from Shameless, Oz from Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Bilko from The Phil Silvers Show and Pop Larkin - Sir David Jason again - from The Darling Buds of May.

The Radio Times compiled the online poll to coincidence with the launch of the new BBC1 comedy drama The Invisibles, which begins on May 1 and is billed as "the new Minder".

It stars Anthony Head and Warren Clarke as Maurice Riley and Syd Woolsey, two ageing ex-criminals who return from the Costa del Sol and settle in a quiet Devon fishing village, only to find themselves drawn back into a life of crime.

Head said of his role as a gentleman safe cracker: "There's a long history in popular culture, from Raffles and The Charmer to Ocean's Eleven, of characters who do wrong things for the right reasons.

"It's back to Robin Hood and the acceptable face of thievery. The Invisibles don't just steal from anybody, we steal from people who can afford it or people who need to be brought down."

Top 10 loveable rogues

1. Del Boy (Only Fools And Horses)

2. Norman Stanley Fletcher (Porridge)

3. Sawyer (Lost)

4. Alfie Moon (EastEnders)

5. Arthur Daley (Minder)

6. Lovejoy (Lovejoy)

7. Frank Gallagher (Shameless)

8. Oz (Auf Wiedersehen, Pet)

9. Bilko (The Phil Silvers Show)

10. Pop Larkin (The Darling Buds of May)

I hope there are good surprises in store for Sawyer in the final episodes, if Kate wants him she should make the first move this time, I would like to see him involved in taking care of the people around him and their safety in the near future.

I can accept short scenes, but they should good. At least when last season we saw him reading on the beach with a sad expression, those 30 seconds showed us his emotional state. Scenes like Sawyer asking Ben if the Micheal on the freighter is the Micheal they all know, are really pointless for the character.
Thanks Misty!
My ignorance concerning UK TV knows no limit, I've never watched any of the other shows in the list (assuming they're all UK shows - is Lost the only American show in the list? )
It's nice to see Sawyer's making the third place.

I think Sawyer is the only American character on the list.
Wasn't he also the only US character on another UK list they made last year, for all time favourite characters or something like that?

I've seen three shows from the list. "Only Fools and Horses" is an old show but very popular here. They've repeated it several times and always air Christmas specials. Del Boy is a great character.
The other two I remember are "Lovejoy" and "The Darling Buds of May" (Catherine Zeta Jones played in it).

I must be living in a closet cuz I don't know who any of those people are except Sawyer, Phil Silvers (which was like a show from 50 years ago!) and Lovejoy. Mmmm... love me some Lovejoy. Ian McShane. Hot hot hottie. Mmmmm. Unless they're talking about a different Lovejoy.

Ian McShane, I follow (and agree with) you. Lovejoy, I'm lost.

Yes, I win the contest as the most ignorant person about UK shows, sigh.

I think I saw Lovejoy. He was an antiques collector and solved mysteries or something like that.

I also saw a few episode of "Auf Wiedersehen", which makes me a super expert on this board.

That's the only Lovejoy I know.

The important thing is - even though they seem to prefer British TV shows and characters, Sawyer is the only American representative and he was placed pretty highly. Yay!
