Do you think that was their first and only "hook-up"? I'm wondering if maybe there was some more Jate before Jack found out that Aaron is his nephew. *If* he knows he is, by the time of SNBH. I'm simply assuming he does.

I'm really curious to see Sawyer and Kate's goodbye. Jack said that Sawyer chose to stay, so I want to see how their separation plays out, and how Kate will take his decision when it hits her that she may never see him again.

i don't think there was any Jate before trial, or i just hope so..

and i have a feeling the goodbye scene will be amazing, there will be lot of emotion. and maybe we will get the spectacular kiss

Well.. I dunno why she'd wait like.. anymore than a day or so to say 'I'm glad you changed your mind', you know?

I dunno, though lol.

And yes.. the goodbye scene will be fantasticccccc.

exactly! but Kate sometimes does and says unexpected things

i wonder if Sawyer will make it to the beach in a new episode... maybe we will get a scene finally..

We don't know if Sawyer will appear in the next episode at all, because there was no trace of him in the promo and promotional stills, if he makes it to the beach it may be at the end of episode 12, but I have my money on the last two hours (in ep. 13) to see him and Kate reunited. Or maybe I just have this dramatic goodbye scenario in my head , with them having little time because the elicopter/boat is leaving, and all the drama happening around them after they have just found each other again...
Maybe Sawyer is back in ep. 12 and their goodbye has nothing to do with what I'm expecting.

Whatever scene we get, it's still frustrating to have one big scene in 10 eps, and nothing more, but I'm very curious about their goodbye, too. That promise and the possible Clementine storyline got to me.

Also, I think D&C have pimped the kiss so much because it's about a couple everyone loves, while they would piss half the triangle fanbase if they had hyped so much either Jate (which is now of the question) or Skate.

That doesn't mean we can't get great stuff for S&K, as well.

I'm sort of torn between being interested in whatever "spectacular kiss" there is (if it's skate) or not. Whatever fantastic encounter they have will be clouded by the knowledge that Kate eventually moved on, no matter the reason. It's like, yeah, she's kissing him now but in 2 years she'll be all over Jacko. Ew.

The producers said kisses, plural. So there could be a D/P encounter too. But they are minor compared to skate.

I think Jin/Sun, Sawyer/Kate and Des/Penny will all have their moment, but the huge scene will be only for one couple and Des and Penny is my bet.

D, your reasoning is pretty similar to mine. Rationally I can understand that 2 years are a lot of time, but stilll... Kate would be now married to Jack (probably) knowing Sawyer is still alive somewhere if the doc hadn't screwed things up. And I don't know how to take the promise in light of all of that - on one hand, it shows she's still linked to Sawyer, and cares for him, but on the other, she was ready to move on even with Sawyer's memory so fresh in her mind.

Mnnnn, d/p don't generate the hoopla and buzz that a skate encounter would. they can have their moment, but it won't be "the big one."

All I can say is I'm sick of this back an forth. That's why I stopped shipping. It's become ridiculous.

jack and kate would never have made it anyway. there was no way jack wouldn't screw it up. he has yet to learn from his mistakes and is still the same jackass he was when the show started. no growth whatsoever. so they were doomed no matter what.

Jate was always going to get a shot. How else is Kate to realize Jack isn't the man for her and Sawyer is? Those hero-tinted glasses had to come off.
