And I just saw the cover of the next Lost official magazine on Dark's, I'm pretty curious about the Evi/Elizabeth interview, for the good or for the bad i want to see what they say about their relationship and "rivalry" about Jack.
The description mentions Yunjin too, but why she isn't on the cover? :/

I agree. It will be good to finally see what their scenes in "Left Behind" were supposed to be about.

Actually I'm more interested in the flashback happenings and would like to hear what the writers of the episode have to say about them. Were they trying to parallel Sawyer and Wayne again and what was Diane's "you can't choose who you love" all about.

I still think the writers were referring to Sawyer in those instances but I doubt Evie will see it in that way. It also depends on when they made the interviews.

The scans of the last issue appeared on August 5 so I expect the new Lost Mag pretty soon.

Evie and Elizabeth were both on the cover of the Lost magazine this year and they probably had photoshoots for the mag. Maybe Yunjin didn't have one and they didn't want to use ald pics.
Also, they maybe want to concentrate on the rivalry between Juliet and Kate.

I really hope the interview was made after the finale, so they have read all the scripts, and also Evi has that additional insight they gave her to play the FF scene at the airport. I think we should get something about the "You can't choose who you love", but Evi may focus on the mother/daughter relationship. It would be great if she brought up Cassidy and their conversation about Sawyer.
Evi has come to the conclusion that Kate loves both men (and no, I don't think she loves Jack in a platonic way), so I expect Jatey stuff, but that's ok because the clearer things are, the better.

Probably the second option is the right one. They used character promo pics for the cover, and usually in the pages inside they put up photos from the set/episode promo pics, so I doubt it was difficult to collect some material for Yunjin. More likely they wanted to focus on the Kate/Juliet thing.

I really wanted to see the producers and the promotion of the show stop enphasizing the "quadrangle" storyline. D&C keep mentioining the rivalry between shipper groups, but truth is they worked pretty hard last year to make things worse with what they decided to put on screen.

They think we like that whats-it-angle stuff.

I loathe and detest the whats-it-angle and I would rather have a definite NO than a "Kate face" and you can make up your own mind story.

The rating smilie is my favorite. I love how it takes a few breaths and goes right back to ranting.

That is so me after too many Lost plots.

According to Evi and the producers, Kate loves both men, and both men love her. How do you resolve/develop such a situation? @_@

Kate loves both guys, no doubt about it. But she's in love with Sawyer. That's what I've seen.

I wish I could be sure of the writers' intentions, but I just can't. I think we'll never reach a point where any of Kate's relationships with those two men will be settled and take the form of something more platonic. I've read some Skater take the ILY more as a "I care about you" (because honestly the delivery of the line was pretty weak), but TPTB look pretty strong in wanting to play the full romantic angle of all those relationships. They can go everywhere with what they've put on the table, because they've been extremely careful in leaving the audience wonder who Kate wants more.

I agree they've played up the ambiguity in case they chose to go either way, but they also keep piling angst upon angst for Skate. Why give them more hurdles to cross if they aren't in the long term plan? As it stands, they are the OTP of this show. That could change, but I refuse to worry about something that hasn't come up yet. I'm along for the ride.

But a big part of that angst is about Jack, that's what I have a problem with. That puts a shadow on everything else, even the things that one should see only Sawyer-Kate related. For instance, probably the scene at the beginning of The Brig was there to show us Kate's fear of committment, but after what we saw in Catch-22, many people were just led to wonder if Kate wants to be with Sawyer, not just relate to her struggle with her "old habits" and personal issues to be with him.

Mine is not just paranoia about the future, although I have a pessimistic attitude, it's disappointment with what I've seen in a lot of episodes last year.

I really hope to see them writing for Sawyer and Kate and not the triangle next season. I want to start to see some consistent development last year, not just a couple of meaningful scenes (like the hug or the convo at the creek) here and there.
