Fran, I got scared for a minute. The doc called in another doc for a second opinion. I was like, 'Oh sht! What did I do to my poor ear?'

It got infected, so infected it was bubbling in there. But I didn't break anything. Just required several trips to the doc. And money.

What's even more ironic, first thing he asked me was if I normally stick q-tips in my ears.

That frakking q-tip only takes care of the wax, not the itching. But that hair pin? Oh, man. It takes care of that itch like nothing else can. It's like an ear orgasm, lol. But unfortunately, it hit the wrong spot and it was NOT enjoyable.

Omg, I've done the hair pin thing too! But I've stopped sticking anything in there after the last Dr. bill I got.

I do have an ear tip. My doc said; once a month, put a drop of mineral oil in there. Takes care of wax and dry skin.

Thanks for that! Because even now it's itching and it's KILLING me not to scratch. I'm just so scared to even touch my ears.

What's the latest? Did they do anything?

The doc just checked them again (oh yes, that is plural. The other ear started to hurt last night) and said it's not infected. So there's nothing they can give me. Just letting it heal on its own. They told me I can keep on taking the pain killers I've been downing like candy (not really). I have a hearing test to do all the way in August. So if I go deaf before then, tough luck for me.

I guess for you you'll just have to keep downing the Motrin. That's what I had to do.

Both ears feel so clogged up and it's the most annoying thing ever. Then I have nasal congestion on top of it. I'm just a mess all around.

The Motrin seems to be working. And fast. You had antibiotics, right?
