Someone in the writing room probably thought it was a great and funny idea.
I don't like Kelso type of characters. They are more annoying than funny. See Joey from Friends.

Hey! I loved Joey. He cracked me up with his stupidity.

See. I almost never laugh (out loud) while watching sitcoms or comedies. I usually just smile or, at best, laugh on the inside. (Unless people who are watching with me are cracking up so I laugh at them, not at the show/movie.)

But, Joey is not funny at all to me.

Something is wrong with you to NOT laugh at Joey.

No way. Dumb is not funny, especially when the character gets dumber and dumber as the time goes by.

I have to ask - do you think Police Academy movies are funny?

They were funny back in the day. I doubt I'd find them funny now.

Maybe I should correct myself because I remembered two dumb characters I really like - Reese from Malcolm in the Middle and Rose from The Golden Girls.

I remember watching them because everyone else did, but I never really thought they were funny. My cousin is cracking up every time he catches a repeat on TV - the jokes never get old for him.

It's like with the Scream movies. I thought they were so scary when they first came out. Now I watch them and wonder what the hell was wrong with me.

The only movie that remains frightening (and always will) is The Exorcist. I can't watch it to this day.

I haven't seen many horror movies, but I was easily scared when I was younger so it's probaly better that way.

I was about to post a big fat reply to Misty's post in the previous page when my internet went K.O. yesterday, yay.
A lightings storm screwed up the cables and things were fixed only earlier this afternoon.

So, now I'll just go for a shorter version of my previous post because the thread has moved on.

1) I luved Malcom In The Middle.
2) I loved Joey with Chandler! I loved everyone in Friends, minus Rachel maybe (didn't hate her, but she was my least favorite). The neverending Ross/Rachel drama led me to lose some interest in Ross, too.
3) Every time I saw Jackie/Hyde mentioned in anyone's sign I thought there was a show based on The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and they had somehow split the Good Side and Bad Side in a female and male characters. Don't laugh... too hard.
4) I love The Exorcist. One of my favorites, along with The Shining.

Yesterday I watched some random stuff I had download on my computer. Diary Of June with Yunjin, Number 3 with Elizabeth, and North & South with Richard Armitage.
I may be the only person in the world who didn't like the romance in the mini-series , but Richard looked great, and his performance was good.
The kiss at the end was pretty though.

I totally ship Richard's nose with his head tilted like that.
Yup, that's a ship, trust me.

I ended up feeling sorry for Ross way too many times in the later seasons. It annoyed me that less intelligent characters got to outsmart him too often and made fun of his profession.

Nice imagination.

What would you do if Josh's and Richard's noses ever touched?
BTW He tilts his head quite a bit during the kiss - just like Josh/Sawyer.

Hey, he still got less bombarded than Chandler with the gay jokes. I loved Friends, but after a while they started overdoing certain themes and topics for all characters, like all the other shows. Anyway, I know what you mean... but I'm guilty of having enjoyed some "battles of opposite logics" between Ross and Phoebe, some of their exchanges cracked me up.
I liked Ross but sometimes his puppy moments were just... too much.

Thanks for using the term "imagination" and not "brain damage".

...Self-combust?

I could put aside my "I'll never get slash" beliefs for that special occasion, btw.

I feel better now that you've made the same comparison I have.

Oh frak. You are seriously trying to kill me, Fran. @_@

Also, I must apologize to Guy's S3 hair. I'm very sorry I ridiculed and judged you before you had a chance to prove yourself. You are quite lovely. <3

I didn't believe in the romance either. I believe he felt something and the propriety of the day demanded he propose, but the kiss at the end was the only moment that felt a bit real.
