Thank you. I hope Spain keeps winning the next game. Wow, France vs Italy is going to be a very interesting game. Oh and Germany vs Austria today too.

How was your weekend in Oxford, Louise?

Thanks for the links, Maria

Mel, I love Carlos from 24 . I've just changed my icon but I'll use another Carlos one soon

for Spain winning.

It was great, we saw all the main sights, went on a river cruise, up a church for a amazing view over the city, I didn't take any photos as my friends camera is way better so will hopefully get some through from them soon.

I'll be away this weekend too, spur of the moment trip to Devon. Summer always is mad for me, my friends seem to be the type who don't want to do anything in the winter so make up for it in the summer when we seem to go all over England.

As promised a picture of my two new guineas:

They are adorable Louise! Aww.

Have a good time this week-end weith your friends, usually trips planned at the last minute are the most enjoyable ones, you just go with the flow and have fun.

That's an annoying effect, Sophie. Did you applied any lotion on your face after coming back home?

This is random, but pretty much everyone on livejournal is taking this personality test, so I thought to post the link here, lol:
The iPersonic Personality Test

According to it, I'm an Analytical Thinker (AT).

Yes..., I'm awful at remembering stuff like that. It seems to not be as bad as it was earlier I was actually shocked at how it was sunny...in boring old Bolton.

Apparently I'm a Dreamy Idealist (DI)

Thanks for sharing, Loiuse. They're cute. And have a good time in your next trip

So we have an AT, a DI and now a GR, Good-natured Realist (GR) . The truth is that the test totally nailed me

The only thing I'm sure of is that I'm the introverted type. I feel torn about all other personality traits, especially the thinker or feeler one. I guess I'm The Reliable Realist or The Good-natured Realist

Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - they are always a little like an “absent-minded professor” whose home and workplace are chaotic and who only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable.

This is just a nicer was of saying you're crazy.

I think the result is spot on about me when it says I'm a curious type, I hate social obligations and I need a lot of time alone. But all the rest... my concentration abilities, being witty and imaginative, self-confident about my opinions... what, where?

my result is really accurate as well.

This bit is soo true, most of the time I won't bother arguing unless its something I strongly believe in, then you can never shut me up...

It's a really accurate test

That's a nice trait, fighting for what you care about/believe in.

The line in my result that caught my attention the most is this one:
Quote:
They want to know what holds the world together deep down inside.
It reminded me of all the questions I used to ask as a kid, and how annoying I was when the reply didn't satisfy me. My father hated my "What if" scenarios.

Louise, what did you name your piggies? The brown one looks like "Colonel Reginald Pickles" or "Reg" when it's in a playful mood. What what pip pip

I was watching some Mad TV clips on youtube and this is one of my faves. It's a Grey's Anatomy and House spoof.

Addison VS. McMeany, awesome. And mushroom hair hobbit is a nickname worth of the best S1 Sawyer.

Thanks for the clip!

Today we're playing against Greece but the important game is next weekend against Italy. Our time has come, we have to win . Truth to be told, papers here aren't being the optimistic with headlines like "Spain hasn't beaten Italy in an official game since 1920"
