The players don't really seem to "get" each other. Some rare attempts to hand the ball to Toni failed completely. I've never really understood what Camoranesi's role is supposed to be. Buffon had some nice saves. I liked how he reacted when Van Nistelrooy had that early chance to score as well as the attcker's decision not to fall down and demand a penalty (my fair play moment of the day).
That last action you mentioned is probably the only thing I enjoyed about the game, besides seeing Grosso have some nice moments (I've never given him a lot of credit ).
The second goal scored by Holland has been fantastic.
Our defence was so all over the place.

As a consolation, the first goal should've been annulled.
It would be a consolation, if it weren't that all the Italian commentators I've listening to since after the end of the match hadn't been talking about that - it was important, yes, but our team had major problems, we would've lost anyway if things went fair, unless we had luck on our side. When you play a great game and you lose because of a mistake of the referee, then you can talk about it for ages, but when you suck you should concentrate on what *you* did wrong.

I didn't really feel like watching after the third goal. At least you're willing to reconsider your position and admit to being wrong.

The second goal was great.
Your defense probably suffered because Cannavaro didn't play, but still they are not really newbies and should've done a way better job.
I'm really curious to know what you think of Gattuso.

I know exactly what you mean. Those two idiots on our TV did the same thing yesterday. The referree seemed to be the cause of all our problems. The formation? The game? The opponents? The physical condition? Lack of motivation and trying? The chnages? Nah, those don't matter.

They have no excuses, Cannavaro didn't get hurt 3 hours before the match, where it would've affected the plans, or the peace of mind of the players.
Holland scored two goals but risked to put the ball in the net (is "net" correct? Sorry if it's not ) even more times.

In general, or during tonight game?

Those were just... "circumstances".

(Sorry I'm so slow, Internect acting like a bitch, and I'm trying to update the spoiler thread OP at the same time )

I'm not really familiar with the English, but that should be the right term.
BTW You got a lot of yellow cards, which can be risky at this early stage of the competition.

I think it's FF's fault again. Take your time with the spoiler thread.
I forgot to thank you for opening this one. Nice photo choice.

Thanks. Putting the ball in the net sounded a big pervy to me. (But everything sounds pervy to me all the time, anyway)

I think Buffon's apologies to all the Italians is a good indicator of what this game looked like, from all angles, attitude included.

In general.
I'm torn about Gattuso because often he has those moments where he throws rationality away and this makes him lose concentration, he usually felt the match a lot... too much, even. But this also makes him one of the players who does all he can on the field.

The spoiler thread is ready but as usual, I'm blank on ideas for the banner. Help!
If you have a funny line Josh could've whispered to Evi during the shooting of the helicopter scene, that would be good too, I'll do soemthing super quick like slapping some text on a screencap, lol.

I asked because I feel like he's still seen as a super aggressive player and I don't think that's fair. Also, we agree on the effort he puts into every game he plays.

Something pervy for sure, but I don't have any concrete suggestion. Sorry.

I don't think he's aggressive, I've often seen him trying to make another players calm down or stop them if a situation got out of hand. But he's pretty passionate and he's pretty energetic in his actions (don't know how to explain this better), that's probably why he has a certain reputation.
And he's such a puppy, jhis interviews are always humble and funny. He had great humor and can laugh at himself.

I once read on a forum that he demonstrated for some TV show (probably "Iene") how they used to break into cars when he was younger. Is that true?

How dare you?
It's all your fault because you keep coming with new ideas and want to keep it all nce and organized.

You can leave one thread for tomorrow.

Lmao, I never watched or heard of that, but now I'm curious. I'll ask Lo, if there is such a video I'm 100% sure he's seen it.

We need to have a general banner to have something in the OP when we don't have any idea for a picture matching the title.

(Just wondering, but... anyone knows a bit of Korean, by any change?)

It was a Croatian forum so it might not be very accurate.

I was hunting Yunjin pics yesterday, but I don't understand a thing, not even where I have to click.

I'm beat, and no matter how much I try, right now I have zero ideas for the spoielr threads, is it okay if we open it in the morning?

You could wait for someone else to get it. If those pics are new, I guess Aly will have them on her blog pretty soon.
