Ouch. I think it is one of the most uneven shows. One week I think it's funny and the next I don't laugh once.

The most uninteresting characters for me was Ryan's girlfriend/fiancee. I hope they'll give her something to do in the following episodes.

I watched V live yesterday night, but I have to rewatch it because thanks to my usual luck, the streaming kept freezing and I missed things here and there.
The general impression I got was - too fast. I'm glad they didn't stall with certain revelations, but the way we didn't get to see how the visitors' arrival sunk in during the first days or in the other countries (considering how global this invasion and its effect has been presented) felt a bit forced.
I did like the second part of the episode, they did a great job with the shocking moments and introducing the blind faith/devotion theme.
I'm waiting to see the next episode to get a better idea of what direction they're following.

I liked Elizabeth and Morena Baccarin in their roles, but I think the casting has been good with pretty much all the characters, problem is there wasn't enough time to go beyond the surface so I hope that improves.
Tyler gets on my nerves a lot, but I'm impressed by how they found a guy who resembles Elizabeth so well to play her son.

My biggest surprise were the ratings - my most optimistic guess was 12 millions, and it got 14.3 and a 5.2 in the demo instead.

The SyFy channel has been running the original V series that aired in the 80's. The reptile leaders are Charles and Diana.

I've been disappointed with this season. The characters are still strong , but the plot seems to meander. I think the show is being too subtle. It's just showing these people living their lives, but I need more to keep me involved. The first season arc of "who is Don Draper" and the second season mystery of "Peggy's baby" built anticipation, which is lacking for me this season.

No.

I have a site that I use for downloads ( I watched the funniest episode of Supernatural this morning), but youtube is just easier.
