I agree that S5 was well balanced in terms of screentime (except for Jack who's role I thought was reduced to that of a glorified extra; not that I'm complaining), but I still thought it was mostly filler. Mainly with the Dharma storyline that I felt was a waste of time and didn't interest me at all.

I hate Jack, so I dunno what to do come season 6 when he just eats up all the airtime. Season 2 was so bad in this regard that I can only watch the Sawyer or Skate episodes from that season when I rewatch.

i think s2 had more of the other losties as well...which was a waste when they all died

the Jack Locke stuff did grate for a bit...not too much since i really don't hate Jack

The power struggle between Jack/Locke grated on my nerves a lot. I got so fed up of them bitching at each other like an old married couple. That's why I literally cheered when Sawyer stole the power from them both. It was awesome.

I've always wondered why he was never granted that kinda leadership. He seems to be more of the right-hand man type.
