Thanks for the news about Cuse's next project, Julie! I like the subject.

Big news for Jorge, too - he's been cast as a lead in JJ. Abrams' "Alcatraz" pilot:

Good for Jorge, but I sure as hell won't be watching that.

Good for Jorge, but I was never particularly fond of his acting (though that may be more the fault of writing and lack of precise directing instructions) or of Hurley as a character.

Elizabeth Sarnoff left me frustrated with how she wrote Sawyer. Either too much of an ******* or too much of a regular, upstanding guy/security guy/policeman. It's like she never knew how to blend all sides of the character together. So, she's definitely a turn-off from this show.

Nothing against JJ Abrams. It's not a popular opinion, but I could never really get into Alias. On the other hand, I really liked Felicity (although some things in last seasons annoyed me, like the time travel, Noel becoming Leon and Noel ending up with some girl that showed up quite late to the show). But overall, I thought it was a good show.

So, all in all, I'm not watching this show.
But I wonder if it'll have any similarities to Oz. Probably not.

JJ never sticks around and he leaves his shows in less capable hands. It happened with all of them.

Dominic Monaghan and Elijah Wood Reunite for Lunch in LA

Elijah is actually shorter than Dom. That's incredible. lol.

I lol'ed when he explained the REAL origin of Thanksgiving. I didn't think he knew much about American history.

Thanks for the video of Dominic. I don't know what project he is promoting at the moment though. Why pick him to do this?

Agree but would rather he gets another movie rather than tv.

That clip of Dominic singing an ode to turkeys on Kimmel is awesome. I had to rewatch it twice (and the turkey is so cute).

I wonder who won the softball game. We got some pics but zero info about the event itself, or at least I couldn't find anything more around.

I guess the Off The Map cast won. Because DDK probably would've mentioned it on twitter or facebook if he and his H50 peeps bested them.

Now that you mention Twitter... why didn't we ask Daniel about the game over there? D'oh. And if he had a chance to spend some time with Josh in Hawaii.
