Jin and Locke would be my favorite, too. I liked the connection with John, and how James trusted him and looked affected by his death. I wish they had addressed his relationship with Jin during their Dharma time more, though.

for Sawyer and Charlie we didn't see many scenes but i think there was a bit of mutual respect there...Sawyer pretty much assumed Charlie's roles in the lives of Claire and Hurley in s4 imo

True, he was there for Hurley if he wanted to talk about losing his best friend on the island, and stepped in to protect Claire because she had no one to do it anymore.

I would've liked for Charlie and Sawyer to have one last decent scene/conversation in Season 4, especially after the con came up with Sun, I think the last time in which we saw them together was in Left Behind and it was just a quick, funny moment during the barbecue.
