Sawyer has some great interaction with the woman on the show, even if it's sometimes short scenes, and I think it would be interesting to see how he could interact around me, if he didn't initiate the flirting I will

Will Juliet fare well?
Juliet has always been fairly mercenary in her desire to survive. She sits back and kind of tries to figure out how to use things to her advantage, but in this situation there’s really no sitting back to be done. So she’s just dealing with more immediate and present danger.

Juliet’s hardly innocent, but is she the show’s most sympathetic character?
I think yes. But, of course, Michael Emerson would say the same thing about Ben.

Did the writers name her after Shakespeare’s tragic heroine?
I’m certain it’s not random because they’re never random. It does seem to me that she’s pretty much destined for tragedy, whichever way she goes, no matter how hard she tries to fight against it. She does seem to be someone who gets a bit caught up with men, as far as love goes.

As we saw in season three, Juliet’s favorite book is Carrie by Stephen King. What do you make of that?
I think it’s wonderful because you’re thinking teenage girl, rampant emotion, sex, lust, you’re thinking all of those things. You think of her as being an intellectual because she is so smart. So what you’re saying with that book is she’s an intellectual wrapped in the shell of a teenage girl.

Juliet literally drank the Kool-Aid before arriving on the island, but did she ever really fit in with Ben and his people?
There are things that she knows that we never hear her discuss again. So, obviously there were agendas that she was participating in.

Does Juliet really love Jack?
I thought she felt very passionately about him. The way that she acted around him was very much like a woman who had fallen for someone, so it would be an interesting choice if she didn’t love Jack. But at the same time, it’s always tied up in her endgame, which of course is to get off the island.

How did you feel when you found out that Jack and Kate end up together?
I’ve always really liked Kate and Sawyer together, so I thought that was kind of a bummer. It’s hard to say how ego-wise I felt about it or how I felt about them together. Obviously, I’m sure that Juliet wouldn’t have thought it was that great.

What’s your theory about why the Others were interested in Juliet’s work?
I’ve always thought that the Others, because of Richard, don’t age. They are timeless, but they cannot procreate. I think the fact that Juliet is a genius in her field for the most part means she would probably be one of the only people who could figure out why that is and how to fix it.

makes me hope that Sawyer and Juliet will at least have the chance to interact a lot with each other and form a bond, somehow, helped by the experiences they will go through together on the island.
Juliet has manahed to climb my Favorite Characters list to one of the highest position, so I can't help but love the idea of her become friend with my absolute favorite, James.
And score to New York Magazine for putting Sawyer and Juliet in the title of the interview.

Now, I just need to find a way to be into the show, even if it's just for a very short scene so then I'll have the chance to be add in the OP

So, season 5 finally started and I didn't see any episodes yet but hopefully a friend of mine will give me the ep soon so I can talk about it with everyone here too (like in the Sawyer or episode discussion thread

), so I didn't really get spoiled about what happened but giving to some people avis for example, it seems like we get some Sawyer/Juliet scenes and that could be really interesting!

I would really like to see how they will be with each other and how they will "work" together, I'm sure we will get good scenes with these two

Also have to say, the opening post is gorgeous!

I thought it was cute how the actress who plays Sun wants to kiss James. lol. I never heard that quote before.

Sawyer and Juliet are both tall, blonde and pretty, but they are also two very different people. Their love for books and reading seems to be one thing they have in common.

Plus, she killed a man to save Sawyer's life. That's kind of a big deal.

I'm so happy to meet another Sawyer/Juliet fan!

I've kind of "discovered" them at the end of last season - I had been a Sawyer/Kate shipper before that, for a very long time, so while I did enjoy their scenes before (for instance, they conversation while they're heading back to help Sayid, Jin and Bernard in the S3 finale - I really enjoyed them there, another example is the deleted scene from episode 4x01), I never considered them in a romantic light. Then, I don't know what clicked in my head, it may be a case of getting to love so much the single characters, that the idea of Sawyer finding happiness with what I consider the best female character in the series at the moment, seems natural to me, now.
They both deserve love and happiness, and be with someone who is able to be honest about their feelings. And the banter would be fantastic!

Their scenes in the first two episodes of the season were awesome, I loved how they seemed in sync about everything and the way they helped each other, and had each other's back.

BTW, I'm Francesca (Fran), sorry about not introducing myself before.
