I'm still not going to watch the episode or hang out in the Canadian thread to read the re-cap. Last week , Claudia's Ghost had me convinced it was the worst SKate scene ever , but she was so wrong.

I read her posts on LF and get scared, you have no idea how much. It leads me to wait past 3 a.m. to see the clips

, and only then I went to bed. She wrote something like "the episode is a Jate dream" and I started panicking. But I kinda caught that she has great Skate expectations for that eppy, and that could explain her first reaction.

3x10 sounds like a great episode.

In a way , I wish I could watch Lost like I watch Heroes with no spoilers and no couple to ship. I guess at some point shipping James and Kate won't keep me interested in the show.

Any theories on who Tricia Tanaka is?

I think I saw a few that said , Lost is back . I think that may have more to do with the fact that it is more focused on the beach. None of the spoilers I've seen lead me to believe this will be a great episode.

Danielle showing up again isn't much of a shock because she was there a year ago for Maternity Leave.

I've seen a few more positive reviews of the episode but I agree that it is probably due to the fact that that we're finally back on the beach.

Even in this article they basically say that the group of losties and how they interact with each other is the most interesting part of Lost.

They are also not happy with the rescue mission storyline because the group is divided once again and we'll be focusing on the Others, who people don't really care about, once again.

True, but a lot of people have been rooting for a Danielle/Alex reunion, maybe that could explain the excitement about her joining (or just helping) the group headed to the Others' camp. I agree with you and misteriosa, though: probably the main reason people love/will love the episode is the focus back on the beach, and the return of S/K in the original group.
